I have been ordering pizza in my town since I was in elementary school and probably average 2 or so orders a week ? I am now 35... and I am sure with a multi-million dollar salary per year that Rob Lynch (CEO of Papa John?s) doesn?t really care how manypizzas Papa John?s delivers incorrectly, however, the average customer I am sure does .. I just ordered a pizza through the PapaJohn?s website which I received incorrect (had mushrooms instead of pepperoni) ? I proceeded to call my local Papa John?s inSalem VA at 221 W 4th Street when someone answered the phone and advised me that there was nothing they could do for me ? I wasthen advised that ?DoorDash? delivered my pizza, that I would have to connect them to get a new pizza ?. I responded that Ididn?t order through DoorDash but through Papa John?s and that I did not have a DoorDash account ? apparently that did notmatter, at this point I was very frustrated and advised I wanted a refund on the whole order (only pizza ? which was wrong andan order of cheese sticks) ?. The person I was speaking with then hung up on me, prompting me to call back and ask for a manager? I supposedly got the GM on the phone who was very polite and pleasant ? said they would remake the pizza but I would have tocome pick it up .. (I ordered delivery for a reason) ? the GM was very apologetic and advised they did not have any day timedrivers so DoorDash steps in and they (Papa John?s) only have evening drivers and how it saves them money ?.. however, when I ampaying $30 for a pizza and cheese sticks, I am unconcerned with and certainly should not be inconvenienced by the companywanting to ?save money? ? Shame on me, I guess I should be concerned with making sure Rob makes $8 million next year instead of$7 million ?. This is extremely unfair to the customers who made this company what they are and the ones who depend on correctdeliveries when ordering ? I called in my order to pick up and arrives at time scheduled. I walked in and there?s no one to acknowledge my presence. Other... customers standing around looking at each other. I tried to get someone?s attention but they either ignored me or they?re deaf.I stood for 15 minutes and walked back out to my vehicle and called Domino?s a block down the road. Do not ever order delivery!!! Was told 45-54 minutes it took 2 1/2 hours before pizza was delivered. If they are short staffed... they really should let people know and give them option to pick up there pizza. When I called after a hour and half I was toldit was coming out of oven and the grub hub driver was in the store and would be leaving in about a minute. I have called severaltimes either disconnected or put on hold for long periods of time. Read more

Consistently late delivery and incomplete orders. Willing to make you wait for them to deliver rest of the order or set it so... your next order is free, but not refund your money (either complete or partial). 2 hours for an incomplete delivery but tellingthe customwr to wait longer is reasonable? The food is already cold! If you cannot get orders correct, why should the customertrust the NEXT order to be both correct and free? For that mattwr, why would there be a next order? Read more

The pizzas had no sauce on the middle and a little around the edges. The staff was a bit rude. Otherwise it was okay. Papa Johns... is my favorite pizza but this particular location and order was my worst experience so dont judge all Papa's based on this one. Read more
Ordered delivery for a working lunch with my colleagues, but door dash sent it to the wrong address. The Salem Papa?s team not... only made it right, they were also very professional about the whole mix up. The food was delicious as always (I have never hadit disappoint me).
