First the good. They were accomodating for a keto diet. We just had to call to get no bread because the app doesn't let you... remove bread and we didn't want the cheese stuck to the bread. We received discounts on our coffees for it being before 10 AM.So his 1.69 hot coff was only .99 and my 3.49 large cold brew coffee was 1.49. We arrive with a camper so we have to walk up toget our order. Now the bad. We ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches with extra meat. They put them in bowls for us that was nice. Iasked them to put them in 1 and they were placed in 2, still no big deal. But then when I flipped the one into the other for myhusband there was a long hair cooked into the eggs and melted into the cheese and bacon/sausage. When I walk back up to thewindow they didn't act like it was a big deal. The girl is like i'll remake it. The sad part is there was never a " let me compit ". Now don't get me wrong I've worked in the restaurant industry where people try to get everything free, however this wascooked into it not just sitting there so you could tell it wasn't staged. Also I ordered a French vanilla coffee that was large.They said they have cold brew and I told them if it wasn't the French vanilla I didn't want it because I do not like regulariced coffee they said it's like a French vanilla. So I thought it was new staff because it either is or it is not. It was notand when I explained that they just gave me a cup of syrup. Definitely not the same as other Sonics. I now understand the 2.5star reviews. There was another couple there with issues as well and no one else was there so I think I need to start listeningto reviews. Just sad because the sonic by my house isn't like this they are good. Waste of my money and I doubt I would comeback to this sonic. Other downfalls it said that the sonic in Salida, CO also was not currently allowing the app so you couldn'tuse any promos. Now with that being said. Very weird hours, breakfast at 9 am so no breakfast for anyone that has to be at work at 9am? Smart. Had the Cheese Stix promo... and they gave me salsa instead of marinara. Never right or fast. Read more

Not only did I have to wait 10 minutes for a simple burrito. It fell apart when I opened the package to eat it, that was the... first time I've ever spit food out. It's just fast food, but even so, how hard is fast food to make? Figure it out. Read more

Please don't patronize this restaurant. My son worked here last summer and this summer. He had an accident in June where he... slammed his head into a rack and had to go the Salida ER. This Sonic didn't fill out an incident report and now their corporateoffice won't acknowledge it either. We've called and sent multiple emails and no response. The hospital wants their money butthis Sonic won't even call us back. This place does not value it's employees and in this case is failing to abide by law. Patronize a restaurant in town that actually complies with the law. Read more

I got my food in a slightly timely manner. However they forgot my mustard. No big deal, I just pushed the button. The people... next to me left after getting no service at all. I eventually had to get out of my car and go to the door to ask for it. By thetime I got to eat my food I had to heat it in the microwave. They never did answer the red button by the time I left and theperson who appeared to be the manager just sitting on the computer. Read more

I waited for a half hour for my food out front since they only offered drive-thru service and I was in a larger vehicle.....my... order was wrong. I ordered a steak burrito and got chewy undercooked bacon. I don't eat pork so I waited for nothing and even ifI did eat pork the bacon was way undercooked. Thanks for nothing Salida Sonic. Maybe you should consider not opening if yournot staffed properly to meet needs. This was the worst Sonic experience of my life. Read more

I am going to give 4 stars for customer service. They seem to be out of absolutely everything tater tots lettuce tomatoes... pickles Etc. The young lady at the mic handles this with a smile and a sincere apology. Grace under pressure. I'm sure sheheard a lot of complaints but treated us like we were the first customer of the day.
