Great sandwiches! I loved both that I have had there, even though one of them didn't have any meat. Great people working too! If... you find a nice employee they'll let you go up on the roof and eat at the tables up there, but sometimes if you catch the wrongone at the wrong time they'll say the roof is closed. They only thing bad about this place is the price it is pretty pricey fora sandwich and drink close to $18-20 dollars a person. Other than that it was a great experience! Read more

We were there for lunch and we both had the Flaming Goat. It's grilled, with bacon, avocado, pesto mayo, goat cheese, lettuce,... and tomato on honey wheat. We skipped the pesto mayo and tomato - that's just too much juice on a sandwich for me! Avocadoprovides enough juiciness and is such a delicious, buttery spread. Not to mention it's heart-healthy. The bacon isn't so hearthealthy but it's our vacation so we splurged!! And it was such a delicious sandwich! We went back later for the carrot cake barand that was wonderful as well. I'd eat there every day if I could because the menu is extensive and you could probably havesomething different every day of the month - maybe two months! We'll definitely stop back in when we return to Salida. Thanks,Sweetie's!! Read more

Vegan options are pretty limited. There?s only one unmodified vegan sandwich (The Med). The main flavor on the sandwich is the... ?hummus of the day,? so at least the sandwich would be a little different each time. That day?s hummus was crushed red pepper,so it had some spice and I really enjoyed it. There?s a sizable vegetarian list, but all have cheese and/or veggies that arecooked in butter. Read more

Too many good options for sandwiches when you lunch at Sweetie?s! After examining the menu for a couple minutes, it became... increasingly clear I?d need to return to try a number of things that seemed interesting. Decided on the Flaming Goat, the Eyeof the Tiger, and an Elvis Bar. Everything was delicious, out quick, and the service was great. If I had ANY criticisms, I?dsay they could ask guests if they prefer a pickle with their sandwich. Tomatoes were listed in my sandwich?s ingredients, so Iasked for none. However, I wasn?t made aware that pickles were going to be included in my sandwich wrapper. I?d have preferredto not have that either. I know most like them, but I can?t really stand them! Pickle juice anywhere near my sandwich is a badday for me. Sorry! Read more

This is my favorite sandwich shop in a good 50 mile radius of Salida! Everything is made to order and is the best quality. I've... eaten here 5x in 4 days. My kid is extremely picky and the staff do a nice job getting the order just right. I definitelysuggest anyone wanting a quality sandwich give this place a try. Read more
