Decent. I have fond memories of Casa del Sazon. I think by offering so many menu options their food went from very good to... mediocre. We went as a group. The quesabi?ria looked good but the dip (conzume) had about a 1/4 inch of grease/oil. The tostadade Camaron (shrimp) was bland and the shrimp were overcooked yet cold. I had the gordita plate. The pastor came in clumps withinthe gordita shell and half of the gordita (at the end) was just beans. The dry birria plate was light on actual birria. I thinkthis place owes a lot of their reviews to the molcajete dish that looks awesome. The other dishes not special at all. Read more
I traveled up north last week and ended up in Salinas California a cute little town ...hungry as always my boys and I with... friends and family went to Thai beautiful restaurant I loved it ....real big portions .. friendly service. My friends and I shared the Molcajete Michoacano. For $30, we got this huge volcano stone full of goodness! There is grilled... steak, chicken, pork chop, cactus, and sausage. We added shrimp, plus you get two sides with it. Definitely enough forleftovers, too. So good! Read more
My coworkers and I decided to visit this spot because it was recommended by a local. Food looked, smelled, and tasted great.... However, it is heavily seasoned, so if you have a sensitive stomach... it'll get to you!!! Portions are enough to share a platebetween two people. Prices are decent; about 15-20 $ per person. Great place to eat. The food is above a average, but the Original Casa del Sazón (across from the Quadrangle) has better flavor... (must be the extra love and attention the cook gives to the food). The service here is awesome as well as the ambient. I highlyrecommend the Molcahete (not sure if I spelled it correctly). Great place for large groups, too. Read more
