If I could post zero stars, I assure you that would be generous. I started enjoying this location of the Bagel Bakery in the... early 80's. Warm bagels after church were a lovely treat. Fresh made bagel sandwiches for lunch while attending Salinas High,yum! I have been a loyal patron for decades. In the 90's I introduced my children to bagels and even took bagels with spreads totheir birthday parties at Toro Park - San Benancio rather than cupcakes etc. Today this Bagel Bakery lost a customer. The Asiangentleman that works there treated my daughter like garbage. He was so blatantly rude, the other patrons we're commenting outloud. She went in about 1:10pm and placed an order. It was loud and rather than try to shout over the din, she showed theprecise desired order typed out on her cell screen. When she was being handed the bag with her order, she asked if her order hadbeen made to her specifications and was told no. It was clear he had not read her order fully. One of the sandwiches he made hadboth mayonnaise and cranberry sauce on it, for an example. She again showed him her phone that asked for the cranberries to beheld. He got angry with her, told her he had already made her sandwich and would not make her another. He then asked her rudely,if she wanted the food or not. She declined. I have become a regular, around 6 or 630 would give 5 stars if the prices weren't mildly high. This place is very good, great... service always welcoming, great coffee. The food is very good. The turkey bacon avacado, is worth the price. Thank you guys forthe great customer service. Read more
I haven't found a place to serve better bagels than Bagel Bakery! They're so delicious and fresh and have a very smooth and... creamy cream cheese that they use. Although the service can be a bit hit or miss (which is why I put 4 stars instead of 5),they serve amazing food and would definitely recommend coming here! Read more
I have loved this place for over 20 years. The bagels are always fresh and the best in 100 miles. They make great sandwiches... that I keep going back for! They are a very popular place so the most liked bagels sell out by morning. Read more
