The food was extremely dry and overpriced. The pulled pork smelled like wet cat food. The cornbread tasted like jiffy mix. The... BBQ ribs had very little meat and were extremely dry. Moving into the area, and I had a couple job interviews. They were a few hours apart, and I needed some lunch. There were... several choices in the area, but Bone Heads BBQ caught my interest. I decided to give them an interview to see how they couldfill the job of filling my belly. Walking in, I was greeted with a friendly smile. Ordering was a bit difficult as I had tochoose from many appealing options! I settled on a Death By Pork sandwich (Ham, bacon, and in-house smoked pulled pork). As thiswas an interview, and I wanted to test more of their skills, I had to order an appetizer. I choose the Jumbo Mushrooms (largebeer battered deep-fried mushrooms). I know you are not supposed to make rush decisions in an interview, but it was over as soonas I smelled the food put in front of me! After eating as much as I dared, I confirmed that this place fills the bill as a placethat can fill my belly any time! Went out to eat here last night for my dad's birthday. The waiter Greg was amazing. He bought my dad a beer and they all sang to... him. They said it was there very first time doing it at their restaurant. Dad was shocked and probably won't eat out with usagain on his birthday but it was hands down the best ever and I wouldn't change a thing. The food was delicious and service wasamazing. We are gonna plan many more here. We hope Greg is still there cause he made our night so much better. Thanks buddy. Read more
We have had dinner here several times -- especially after a late afternoon movie at the nearby Emagine Theater. We have also... dined several times at the original Boneheads in Willis, MI. Food and service are great. Prices reasonable. We do have apreference for their original Willis location which has better ambiance, but we can't complain about quality or service! Deep wood smoke aroma with a hint of seasoned meat cooking lured me in as the car door opened! Wonderful small dining area that... comfortably seats one or a large dinner party. I truly liked the small direct options menu that will satisfy any BBQ appetitewith the generous proportions that arrive at your table. Fresh cut seasoned fries definitely compliment any meaty choice. Tried this one is Saline. Boy was it extremely disappointing. Pulled pork and chicken dinners, everything was Cold. Not lukewarm... not cool but COLD. Green beans and baked beans were only two things that were hot.(probably microwaved). I ate two bites ofeverything I had and I couldn't eat anymore. We spent $46 on cold food, had to wait for it 40 minutes, and I end up not eatingand taking remainder home. Service was good though. Will not be back. We will go to original one in Willis. Read more
