Really great experience. We stopped here for a cup of coffee on a weekend. It?s a really spacious place with lots of different... options for more businesslike conversations or relaxed reading or just catching up with your friends. The staff here are reallygreat, attentive and friendly they made ordering really easy. The coffee is excellent with lots of selections to choose from.That?s probably the most important thing since it?s so hard to get a good cup of java anywhere these days that isn?t a big chainestablishment. They?ve even got a little shelf of books to purchase from local authors and lots of information on localactivities. It?s really affirming to see the pictures and thank you messages from so many years of local kids sports leaguesthat they have supported. I've gone here a number of times and only got a regular black iced coffee, which has always been good. However, the last two... times I've gone, I've gotten the best iced hazelnut latte I have ever had. It is seriously phenomenal. I will definitely be backto try other drinks in the future! I LOVE Brewed Awakenings! Been frequenting here for years- the Monterrey panini is to DIE for. I?ve tried recreating it at home... and it?s just not the same!!! The coffee is also amazing- they rotate different flavors and always have their amazing houseblend on deck for a reasonable price! I dream about the peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and the banana bread muffins ????Basically, just go here. It?s closer to $10-12 per person, but it?s SO worth it!!! I was going here a lot, probably about 3 times a week. I ordered by phone hoping to save time when picking up my order. I... generally enjoyed the girls who worked there. For the past 3 months or so however, when I called in my order and arrived to pickit up, the girls working there now would not check me out right away and told me that I had to wait behind a long line of peoplewaiting to order. What is the point of calling in an order if you have to wait in line behind a bunch of people who are orderingin person? It was quite unpleasant and the girls were whispering about me behind the counter and ?eye rolling?. It was verydisappointing. I used to love this place , but that encounter was very unprofessional and unpleasant. Update and Response toowner: I appreciate your kind and professional reply. To be clear, the staff was definitely whispering (with eye rolls) to eachother about me asking for priority, absolutely and without a doubt. Some of the staff there are excellent and a few are not sogood. I do appreciate the explanation of services, and again ordering via phone or online will not be an advantage if you haveto wait in the same line as the customers ordering for in restaurant service (eating there). Good drinks, but typically very, very slow service. Do not go here if you're in a rush. It is still a nice local spot and I... typically stop here when I am driving up moon/state street. It's nice to stop somewhere local instead of always Starbucks. Read more
Wonderful friendly server! She even made the kids cocoa "kid temperature". Yummy cookies and cocoa. Love the artwork and board... games set out for playing. Just two things missing...music and the fireplace turned on. Both of those would be a game changerand make it five stars! Read more
