Seemed to be understaffed. Service was still good. Had an unexpectedly good Reuben sandwich. I wish I would have taken a picture... of it. If you like Reubens it would entice you to get one. Macs is always 100% accommodating, friendly wait staff, incredible crafted unique cocktails, delicious food! 10/10! I would not... waste my time trying to get a table anywhere else in Saline! Online order was canceled because of menu changes. Understandable. Went in to order anyway to give this place a real shot.... Immediately met with the manager telling to to place my order at the bar. No menus at bar. Only menus at hostess station. Sameunupdated menu from online. Listen to the hostess stumble thru the available dishes. 1 hr later I'm eating very expensive subparfood. We've been to Mac's many times and it's consistently good. The food is always top notch, cooked properly, seasoned well. The... servers are a bit hit and miss, nothing egregious, but not always the level of attentiveness you might want for a nice seafoodrestaurant. The location is great, downtown Saline. Parking is more than adequate. The inside of the restaurant is clean, modernand comfortable. Price is a smidge high for this small town but it's usually full, even on weekdays so people definitely believeit's worth it. Overall I believe it deserves 5 stars, perhaps 4.8 if that were an option. Read more
I was pretty impressed with this place, the atmosphere inside is awesome and their outdoor seating is gorgeous. The service was... also super good, you could tell just from the way our server spoke to us he really cared. The food was also absolutely amazing,the cajun swordfish did feel a little underwhelming though. This place would be amazing for a first date. Read more
Very good food and a friendly staff. The menu is good but be prepared for high prices. That is the only reason for 4 out of 5... stars - the cost of the food. The restaurant was clean and the wait staff were careful with COVID. The bathrooms were clean andwell kept. Wait time was OK, but they were definitely short staffed as there were many open tables.
