Be aware that the online menu prices are significantly lower than what you will be charged when you show up for your takeout... order. The chicken pad Thai was $1 more. The fried spring rolls were $3 more. The crab Rangoon was $2 more. We've always enjoyedthis place. Don't know if it changed owners or what. It's just not what it used to be. Last time we ordered there, we had a $50take out order and they actually wanted to charge me extra for a small cup of fish sauce. The same stuff that's sitting on thetable for free. Never been charged for fish sauce in any Thai restaurant. Seems slightly shady. This place has gone from a oncea month type of place to a (maybe) once a year type of place. Seriously disappointing. My wife and I had an amazing experience here! The server was very knowledgeable of the menu and facilitated and amazing... experience. The food was new but very good!! The first bite left me cross eyed????!! I ordered another serving to go???? becauseI live in Charlotte! But.. I will be back. Its worth the drive. Bangkok Downtown, you guys are winning! Very much a surprise! Probably the best tasting Asian inspired food I've had outside my own kitchen. I had the Sweet & Sour... chicken, which was a little more sweet than sour, but was still quite delicious!. The Bangkok Bananas with coconut ice cream wasridiculously rich and creamy, I recommend it highly. The staff was very polite, courteous, and prompt. Hoping to go back soon. Read more
We were in Salisbury for a concert and had dinner here. What a great place! The Tom Yum Soup had such a great, developed... flavor. The fresh spring rolls were bright, and refreshing. Most pathetic Thai Spring rolls on earth. Got a to go order and all it had was iceberg lettuce and noddles. Awful. Seafood Pho... was served without fresh cilantro or basil. The seafood was not recognizable. I was very hungry and opted for the return andrefund. Which was handled quickly Read more
I had to go to the corrupt Rowan County Courthouse to pay a fine. Those people can kick rocks. Back to this review, great local... restaurant for Asian/Thai food. Aesthetics were great, I like the vibe of the place, friendly service and the food camequickly. I got a level 2 out of 5 spicy for my Chicken Pad Thai which was perfect. I?ve had better before but it was fresh andstill tasty. I would definitely eat here again but hopefully I won?t because that means I?m back at this courthouse. I hopeyou enjoy! Read more
