This place lacks personality, the ambiance is on life support. I will quickly add that the service is attentive, courteous,... prompt (literally running of there feet) and amicable. The food (pub) chicken fingers and ribs full rack was excellent andplentiful. Read more

I only have this review 1 star becuase the couch outside the restaurant was comfy and tender. Key word outside. I didn’t even... get to go I got he restaurant. Absolutely unbelievable. We looked on the website and it apparently opens at 11:30am. Me and myfamily (entire extended bloodline) camped out at the nearby wharf for the night so we could eat there in the morning. We savedour stomachs the precious night by not eating dinner. Only to find out by the extremely rude chef in the kitchen that wecouldn’t even come in. Me and a large crowd of 35 people were waiting outside for the employees to open the door. We waitedfor at lease 45 minutes and eventually the booming crowd was getting restless and anxious. So my great grandmother was fed upand knocked on the door of the kitchen. Only to be ignored. We had to use blunt force and group protests to get the attention ofthe chef. He came to the door and let us know the at the restaurant was indeed not open. We questioned them why. They said theydon’t know and redirected us to the restaurant neighboring don cherrys. And the grand cherry on top: we went to use thewashroom and the walls were covered in radioactive liquid and half of my bloodline was wiped out. Shame on you Don Cherry. Iknow this is all your fault you old hockey joke. Read more

First time we visited they had no staff. This visit was entirely different. Best thing about this bar for us is the amazing... location. If, like us, you are on the Trans Canada and need a break, this makes an ideal stopover both for food andaccommodation. Read more

Giving this a 1 because the beer was great!! Started off with wait to be seated only to find out they were opening late due to... staff shortage. No sign for this. The home made buttermilk chicken strips were the cheapest product we have ever eaten. Cookedin dirty fishy oil????. My beef dip was tasteless. No seasoning and not served on a ciabatta bun but on a pretzel bun that hadan off taste. Waitress was nice but not much she can do with new owners and menu. Lunch for 2 was $70.00 with h abeer???? Thank goodness the view was great! Don’t waste your money here???? Read more

The staff was unfriendly when we arrived for dinner and we only saw our hostess when she took our order and then when she... brought the food. We waited an hour for a pizza! . We also had to ask numerous times for our bill. I had a pizza that was fullof cheese and nothing else. We sat on the patio and it appeared that cleaning is not a a priority. I would give this restauranta 0 if it were available. Don’t waste your money on this dump! Read more

If you are planning to go here to watch a playoff hockey game, STAY HOME!! A group of us went there last week to watch the... Battle of Alberta game, and for a friends Birthday. At first the service was good.We ordered some appetizers and drinks. thenaround 9:00ish the server came over and asked if we wanted our birthday cake now. I told her to bring if out after the 2ndperiod is over. Then she says she is getting off shift soon and we didn’t really have a choice. After that she asked us if wecould all clear up our tabs with her, so we did and a generous tip was left for her. We then ordered 3 pizzas after that. Shedidn’t ask us if we wanted anything else to drink , nor to let us know that they were closing at 10:00. We got our pizzas andall wanted to order another drink and that’s when we were told that we were all cut off. We may have been a bit loud as wewere all cheering for our teams (like most people do when watching the playoffs) but what sports bar only shows half of a hockeygame?!The pub was closed before the 3rd period even started! We ended up going to Setter’s pub and received much better andfriendlier service and they were open to watch the whole game. Read more
