My wife and I have breakfast every Sunday at this restaurant. The atmosphere couldn't be better for a great breakfast and... amazing staff. There are no corporate robots that work here haha! This restaurant has the atmosphere of, if you dish it out, they'll dish it back. We will continue going every Sunday for breakfast for as long as we're still here. Read more

Fair priced food for fair food. Nothing jumped off the menu nor did the taste raise an eyebrow. The tables, chairs carpets, and... bathrooms were very worn -bordering on "old." The server we had was fantastic. Though, we're not going back. Read more

This place is great for a greasy-spoon diner! Perhaps my low expectations contribute to our great experience here, but the food... was delicious! And the service was great! I had biscuits and gravy, with eggs and hash browns. Biscuits and gravy are one offavorite and they nailed it! The pancakes are huge and fluffy! The hash browns are a really good which I feel is generalindicator of the quality of all the food a place serves on average. Everyone in my party liked the food. We are definitelycoming here again, and yes maybe even instead of Penny Anne's. Read more

UPDATE July 2022: I was impressed with my experience here today, since I had such a poor experience the last time I was here.... The service was excellent, the restaurant was much cleaner, and the food still tasted great. I'm glad I gave this restaurantanother chance. First visit: To begin with, the hostess/server was not to friendly. I struggled, even in trying to get her totalk. Next, she seemed a little impatient when taking my order. After getting my food, though, it tasted great until I saw thisant fly walking across the window by my seat. This bug ruined it for me. Refer to image for a better look. I wanted myexperience to be good. And I tried. Overall, I don't think I'll come back. Read more

You should try this place. The food is very good, but it's the service is really what makes it here. Efi (our waitress) is... adorable! Yes, they have short hours but it's worth finding a window that they're open so you can come. Read more

This has a classic diner feel to it, the atmosphere is very casual and Saturday morning breakfast Esq. We ordered the pork chops... and pancake sandwich. The food is ok, not really great. My family has been coming here for years on the weekend so we like itenough to keep coming back. A pretty good place to grab a bite with family. Read more

Cooking for the masses presents many difficulties. If your food has too much flavor many people cannot handle it. They need... bland food. When the food is too bland there is no amount of salt and pepper that can make it tasty. Based on the food weconsumed I would say Anna's aims to please those that prefer bland food. We ordered french toast with a side of bacon andbiscuits and gravy with a side of sausage. When I asked if the b&g came with any meat I was told no. So instead of orderingsome eggs I ordered sausage on the side. Turns out the gravy does have sausage in it. As the b&g were placed on the table I hadzero expectation of a good meal. As can be seen in the picture, a single pancake with nothing else on the plate would have had abetter presentation. All it would take is placing the biscuits atop each other, slightly askewed, and this dish would look muchbetter. It could have used a little more sausage in the gravy as well. The flavor and texture of the biscuits were fantastic. They were soft, tender, and delicious. The sausage that I ordered on the side had good flavor. The gravy texture was smooth ascould be. That's the end of the goodness. The gravy tasted like flour and skim milk. No amount of salt and pepper could saveit. The bacon was cooked, but super floppy. Fortunately it wasn't bouncy like a trampoline. The french toast was made with eggsand bread. No flavor included. The mouthfeel was great, but it really could have used some seasoning. Maybe some pepper, alittle cinnamon, or maybe even vanilla. We were glad that the margarine came on the side instead of on the toast. In the end, this place is perfect for my parents, or anybody that doesn't love flavorful food. If that is you then please stop in and have abite to eat. Read more
