We had a lovely brunch and were able to try out three of the menu choices (Bison Biscuits & Gravy, Cottage Cakes, Johnnycake... Skillet). They were all exceptional, offering a variety of flavors and a fresh, homemade taste. We enjoyed the outdoor seatingin the garden setting. Probably my favorite breakfast experience in Salt Lake to date. The customer service is absolutely perfect. Friendly,... enthusiastic, and passionate. I don?t remember the last time I felt so welcome in a restaurant. The Ellerbeck is gorgeous andsitting in the garden to enjoy a meal is such a beautiful way to spend a morning. The food was amazing. It was so hard to pick asingle item on the menu. I ended up getting the Johnnycake skillet and it was so good. The cake?s sweetness was so well balancedwith the spicy shakshuka. Great textures. Cafe 140B is such a special place! It?s quiet and cozy, the food is delish, and the staff and owners are lovely! Do yourself a... favor and have afternoon tea on the patio.
