We were thinking is this worth the wait like this? But believeme, it is. I mean the fries were so crispy!! My husband got french fries and i got sweet potato fries and they were so good!! Wecould tell the burgers are going to be amazing just by eating one piece of fries. And the burgers? I specifically wanted tocome here because i?ve been missing Korean Bulgogi Burger. (It?s a thing in Korea) I was hoping that it would somehow mimic thetaste and bring me joy. And it surely did. In fact, it exceeded my expectation. The grilled onions were surprising addition (itdoesn?t come with onions in Korea) but it added more textures and flavor to the burger. SO good! We got a California burger and a Hawaiian burger along with sweet potato fries, fried mushrooms and pina colada... smoothie!!!! The fried food portions are pretty big and the burgers were delicious!!! The smoothie was heaven! Read more
A better burger experience than can be had at most burger chains, detracted mainly by a long wait. We visited outside of peak... lunch hours on a saturday. There were hardly any cars in the drive through, so I thought it would be a quick experience. Themenu has a lot of good options, and I've seen rave reviews of the salads and such. I chose to try a bulgogi burger combo andswap the drink for a pineapple smoothie. The prices are fair. The ordertaker was very hard to hear, so I guessed my way throughordering. We then waited for almost 25 minutes for our food in the drive through. The cashier was very friendly and quick. Myfood held up well to a 15 minute drive. The burger was delicious, it had a bulgogi-esque taste that really made it stand out.The fries were mediocre. The onion rings (which were a welcome surprise, I thought I was just getting fries) were pretty good.The fry sauce was unique, with a kind of smoky taste. OMG! I thought the hamburger combo was the bomb? A couple weeks ago I discovered this teriyaki grilled chicken bowl. Now I... can?t decide which one is better :-). Plus the people that work at California burger are so professional? As a professionalmyself I appreciate that. The food is perfect temperature always consistent in the taste that the prices are reasonable. I justlove coming there to get a bite to eat. I work for the school district so I usually share pictures of myself with differentpeople that I come in contact with. And they are also impressed with California Burger. Read more
The food flavor is the only thing that saved a lower rating. Wanted chili cheese fries with order. Ordered a cheese burger... combo and asked for chili cheese fries and would pay the additional upcharge. Server went to the back, came back and said, "wedon't do that." OK, told server ok then I am changing my order and ordered cheese burger, drink, and chili cheese fries.... nocombo. She said, "I just told you we don't do that for combos." I replied, I didn't order a combo, I ordered a cheese burger,drink, and a order of chili cheese fries. She left and came back and rang it up a la cart. We were with friends who ordereddirectly in front of us. Our food came 26 mins after our friends food was delivered to our table. At the time of ordering wewere only customers in the restaurant. Drive thru was crowded, but we ordered in front of all those people so I am wonderingwhat tool so long. At least the food was hot and tasted well. Not just great burgers! Their fry sauce is akin to the Training Table's which used to be my favorite. I decided to try their... spicy teriyaki chicken bowl and it was just as good without the regret of a burger and fries. Read more
