The meatball sub was mind blowing. The marinara sauce was sweet and tangy. The cheese pull was over a foot long when I split the... sandwich. The bread was soft fresh and crunchy. The sandwich was delicious ????. I would slap every other sandwich shop owner tostep up their game after eating here. I love this place. Also the pastrami sandwich was juicy and tangy and good balance ofvinegar flavor. God I would slap my itialian grand mother after eating here. Read more

I ordered the Hot Pastrami sandwich based on previous posts and it did not disappoint. I travel all over America for my job and... this is one of the best sandwiches that I have had. I'm back next week and I'm coming back Read more

Really good sandwiches. I have not tried anything else. Only the sandwiches so far. It?s a nice spot to have lunch if you?re... downtown & feel like a sandwich. Not too crowded or crazy, which I also like. Of course rush hour can be busy, but that?s how itgoes downtown. Read more

This is a very nice market and restaurant. There is so much to choose from such as gourmet foods, the cheese cave, an amazing... variety of artisan chocolate and a great variety of deli items. We dined in. My husband had penne and meatballs in marinarasauce with mixed greens and a roll. I had a half soup half sandwich. My soup was a mushroom bisque and my sandwich was a RoastedReds Sandwich. All of our food was delicious. It was nice to go inside to eat after being outside at the Farmers Market.Caputo's is a great place to shop and eat! Read more

Went there close to closing and the food was super tasty. We did feel bad because it was close to closing but still had a little... time. They were friendly and the food was good. I got the old school. The bread was a little too chewy for my tasty tint the redpepper spread that was on it was something I might have to try at home! So good. Read more

My visit was 21 Sep 21 during a business trip. My order was a Half Meatball sandwich. I had actually walked to the location. ... It?s a combo deli, eat in/out, with a very nice store to shop for imported delights. If I lived in this area, the storeattached would be a place I would shop it. The sandwich was good and reminded me of home. It was large for the half so youwill get your money?s worth. I wished I have had more time, because I would have liked to sit out on the beautifully flowerygarden type setup for outdoor eating. So maybe next time I will get a chance. Thanks for the good food. Discovered this place while walking around downtown as the building had a nice vibe and character to it. Walked in and part of... the interior is for various groceries and fresh deli items for purchase while the other part is the restaurant where you canorder fresh deli foods. There were about 20 tables inside and 5 tables outside. The ordering process is straight-forward whereyou order at the cashier, they give you a number, and you pick up your order when your number is called. The cashier did agreat job in explaining the sandwich sizes (half or whole) as well as answering any questions. Ordered a few half sandwiches togive several a try. Ordered the Caputo, Hot Pastrami, Muffaletta, and the Old School. There were only about 5 people ahead ofme, so food was ready within 10 minutes. All the sandwiches were full of fresh ingredients, well prepared, and very delicious. Of those, my favorite was the Hot Pastrami as it had a very rich flavor that was complemented with the cheese and mustard. TheOld School, Caputo, and Muffaletta were just as good. On my way out, I saw the Meatball sandwich and quickly regretted notordering it. I did not get to taste it, but it looked and smelled amazing. The next time I'm in Salt Lake, I'll definitelyorder the Meatball sandwich. For a small dessert, tried some of the small chocolates from the market and a chocolate chipcookie. The cookie was very soft and had generous amounts of chocolate chips with a touch of sea salt. This is a great marketand deli serving up the best meats, cheese, breads, and chocolates. The attention to detail demonstrated their passion of theirproducts. I will come back again next time I'm in town and try the Meatball sandwich. Read more
