Visiting from Maryland. A great place to get a lobster roll in the West! They are truly delicious and the lobster is expertly... prepared, no rubbery texture that you so often find when lobster is over cooked and dry. The thing that would bump them from 4to 5 stars in my opinion would be to do a better job with the bread. The roll is an important part of the lobster roll, andthese are pretty cheap bulk buns from a plastic bag. If they could do some local rolls or make them themselves, generouslybutter and grill them, then add the lobster, it would be phenomenal. Read more

I think this was the best lobster roll I?ve ever had! And that?s really saying something coming from this east coast girlie!... Cute and clean inside, and after we ordered they brought the food to our table super fast! Yum! I will be back, ASAP! Read more

The lobster roll is AMAZING! Clam chowder and lobster bisque were delicious too! For vegetarians, they have a sandwich with... Italian burrata. If you are in town you cannot miss this place! Plus the owner is a fantastic woman with many interestingstories to share! One of our group is from Massachusetts and she was impressed by the quality of the lobster. Absolutelyrecommended! Such a wonderful place! Just moved to SLC from Oregon so we were missing the fresh seafood. The owner was absolutely great and... so welcoming. IT IS EXPENSIVE. But you truly get quality and quantity. The actual amount of lobster we got on our dishes wasright on par with the price, in my opinion. And with their ?shore to store within 24hrs? rule, you can?t go wrong. We orderedthe lobster roll and the grilled cheese with lobster. Excellent all around. Owner even brought me a chilled glass for my beer.Highly recommend! Read more

I got the XL lobster roll. Kind of disappointed no gluten-free menu but they do carry gluten-free stuff you need to ask what is... gluten-friendly and it is a very small selection. I just got the lobster meat came home and got my gluten-free bread to make asandwich. Still got charged 36$ ????. It was good but for that price, your best bet is to make your own. Read more

Very impressive lobster rolls! I had been wanting to try Freshies for years but only recently had the chance. I knew their... concept involves flying in fresh lobster daily, which amazed me. The prices had scared me off beforehand. The space is modernand inviting, with sea-themed decor. The menu is easy to understand but offers some fun options for those who don?t want alobster roll. Prices are high but fair considering the work that goes into getting the ingredients. The staff are friendly andservice was quick. I tried the real mainah (medium) lobster roll with a side of corn. I had been impressed with the low price($2) of the side until I saw how small it was. It was almost a laughably small portion. It was tasty though. The lobster rollitself was delicious. The meat felt very fresh. I?d tried another one locally and was far less impressed. That meat almost feltsqueaky in comparison. Though small, the roll was surprisingly filling. Another in my party tried the grilled cheese and wasdisappointed. He said it was bland and the cheese was too stringy, like mozzarella. Overall everyone was impressed with the foodthough. Read more

I was highly impressed by Freshies! The lobster is uncontaminated and neat between a lightly buttered, crispy bun. The flavors... are true and complimentary! After throughly enjoying my Real Mainah 3.7oz fresh lobster roll with a side of brown buttered cornI felt full and satisfied without being bogged down. The staff was kind, helpful, and welcoming. The building is clean andsmells like a dream. Highly recommend for my fellow seafood lovers! Read more

Based on previous reviews, I had high expectations for Freshies and it did not disappoint! I?ve had my fair share of east... coaster lobster rolls and theirs is by far the best I?ve ever had. You?ll spend a bit more for the ?Real Mainah? but I highlyrecommend choosing it over the ?Tourist? because life is too short to skimp on fresh, delicious lobster ???? Read more
