I found this when I walked to concourse B to see off my husband, where my flight was from the terminal A. I?m so glad that I... went there otherwise I would not eat here. I had already done my lunch before. While returning to concourse A, I came acrossthis bake shop and couldn?t resist. It appeared really fancy. I indulged myself to eat a chocolate mousse. It was fresh, moist,chocolaty, and great, except a little more sweet than I expected. Next time I will be eating my lunch at this place. Read more
As I faced every airline travelers nightmare of delays and cancellations I found myself in need of sustenance. I never dreamed... of finding a meal as well prepared as the one I had at Gourmandise. The beautiful blend of roasted tomatoes and fried leekmerged seamlessly with the paprika aioli and arugula all while being layered on top of a bed of carmelized onions balanced on alayer of herbed cream cheese; it?s hard to believe, but this was just the beginning of the amazingly well prepared Euro Burgerthat was prepared by Chris? skilled hands in the kitchen. It?s hard to describe the true depth of flavor he created aside fromsaying it was as if I was served a meal prepared by loving family. Additionally I was once again amazed by the quality andattention to detail that was contained within the Passion Fruit Mousse Cake I ended my meal with. The layers of scratch madecake and smooth mousse were accented greatly by the passion fruit glaze and fresh berries topping that was accompanied by adelicious slice of white chocolate. I feel that non of this amazing meal could have been made possible without the attentiveand kind service provided by my server, Shante. She seemed more like family than a restaurant employee, and not only providedexcellent service, but managed to provide fulfilling conversation with all of her customers WHILE providing that amazingservice. All-in-all I feel that missing the opportunity to dine here would be a travesty! Superior selection of baked goods and coffee in this airport. Lots of milk alternatives, bottled juices, and prepackaged meals... for those with dietary restrictions. Staff is efficient, but also friendly and gives you the time for you to decide withoutfeeling rushed. There's almost always a line, but it goes quite quickly and totally worth it! Read more
Finally! Departing from Gate A, avoiding the infamous long walk to Gate B, only to discover that Gourmandise is at Gate B. Yes,... it is worth the detour and, thankfully, it's the first restaurant as you enter Concourse B. Husband ordered Beef Brisket GrilledCheese. I ordered French Dip. Delicious. Treated ourselves to blueberry lemon cake and blueberry lemon scone although there arevarious dessert choices including other fruit and chocolate. Coffee was very good. It is well worth it to arrive at the airportearly in order to enjoy a delicious meal and dessert. Personally loved the blue and white dessert plates. Happy to find this gem in terminal B. Fantastic pastries and baked goods. I enjoyed a delicious ham and cheese croissant. We... also got a chocolate croissant that was amazing. Service was quick and efficient for a nice sized morning crowd. And, almostequally as important, they sell Coca Cola products! Read more
Great service, kudos to our waiter Jennifer: promptand friendly service. Whatever we had were delicious and cooked to out... loving. Good selection of wine. Raspberry tart was good, but was on a drier side. One minus is worth to mention is tons offlies and fruit flies. In general, we were satisfied with our dining experience before our flight. Thank you! Very disappointed with the service. My food steak was ordered MR and came out well done. Server ? Breanne? never came back by my... table to check on my food. I had to ask a different server for my dessert, which was amazing. Read more
