The food was good. The fries and fry sauce were awesome. Burgers were average. Homemade root beer is really good. The prices... were super high. Kids meals were $7.50, adult combo meals were about $17 for an average to a little below average portions offries. I did like the atmosphere. Classic burger joint feel. I might go back if I was craving a burger but I'd be more likely tospend that much money somewhere else. Read more

Great place for burgers, fries are okay (not bad, just not amazing). Service was great and all the staff we interacted with was... super friendly. Ordered a combo and it was supposed to come with root beer in a frosty mug but it came in a paper cupdisappointingly. They also have a car hop at this location if you prefer to not come in to eat. This is a Salt Lake Local eatery that has been around for a while. The root beer freeze is what put them on the map, and it is... very sweet and rich. Imagine a frosty with the flavor of root beer, that is a root beer freeze. Their burgers are great. Theyare big and meaty. Their fries are pretty good too, I would say better than In-n-Outs French fries but not as good asWendy's. This place has the feel of early American Fast food joints, but with the build materials you see in downtown style .Mind you they Blast the AC in here so it always feels cold. You'll find this place is frequently occupied. I would recommend itfor the food after an event. Definitely a good place to eat, but I am not a fan of how cold or loud it can be. Great place inthe summer though! Read more

The food was delicious. The root beer float is exactly like you see in the pictures and checks all the boxes of awesomeness.... Service wasn't ideal, but they were busy and it was worth the wait. Very cool place. Read more

Fun old-school burger joint with a huge menu. We ordered carside and they still have carhops like a classic drive in! Even... though it was packed, service was fairly quick. You also have the option to dine inside. Servers were friendly. We tried a NewYork burger, cheese fries, and an avocado turkey sandwich. I was disappointed by the appearance of the sandwich (it lookedsimple) but it was excellent! Great fry sauce?I?m pretty sure they?re one of many who claim to be the original. The food was hotand all was quite good! Only real downside?expensive! We ended up paying just over $40 for two people. Read more

Old fashioned in every way but still the best burgers and onion rings around!!! This restaurant is so welcoming with... waitress?s dressed in old fashioned soda style garb. Their service is tip top! Try the bathrooms and you?ll see they payattention to every detail. My rating of restaurants often begins with a visit to their restroom! Sound crazy? Clean restroomssay a lot about the staff and management of a restaurant! Hires is tip rate! Read more

Always a good stop if you?re in the mood for a burger. Been going here for over 10 years and always enjoy their food. Classic... big h is our go-to, but enjoy almost everything on the menu. The root beer is made in house (or at least used to be) and isphenomenal. I?m not even a soda fan and enjoy it. Read more
