I had no idea there is a Turkish cafe in Salt Lake until someone in my office mentioned it. All of their desserts are gluten... free. We tried a slice of chocolate cake and a triangle as well as lemonade and Turkish coffee. They all good. We brought anumber of other desserts home and will try them later tonight. Read more

I was very excited to try this place out, and I ended up being very disappointed. Nothing is fresh/daily made, so that explains... lots of things. Let\'s start with baklava: their baklava is not the traditional Turkish baklava, you can just tell it be thelook of it. The sucuk-kasar borek was fine, but was soaking in oil/grease. The simit was the biggest disappointment: it feltlike it was at least a week old, it tasted like a week old break, not simit. The tea was fine, nothing special. I didn\'t askwhat kind of coffee they use, but the Turkish coffee did not feel as strong as a traditional Turkish coffee.\n\nIt was alsopretty expensive considering what you get.\n\nI also found it rude that they had a sign saying \"we reserve the right to refuseservice to anyone\". I mean we get that you have that right, but you don\'t need to advertise it. Read more

This was the coolest coffee shop I\'ve ever been to!!!\n\nThe staff were so nice and explained everything and we\'re extremely... knowledgeable and kind!!! The food and drinks were fantastic!!! And the price was amazing!!!\n\nI recommend the Carmel MoonMilk with the parsley and feta meal. It was divine!!!\n\nParking can be tricky but behind both the cafe and the building nextto it is allowed so I recommend parking there. Read more

This place is magical and unique. The best time to come is right when they open and if you?re lucky, when it?s raining outside.... It adds to the overall feel! Each part of this cafe was throughly thought out. I love the bohemian vibes. There is a place tosit and relax at every corner. The owner has photos of her ancestors around the place which adds to the overall authenticnature.\n\nThe Turkish coffee is so delicious and smooth. I don?t like black coffee but I was able to handle this coffee withoutmilk! The portion is pretty small so it?s tolerable!\n\nThey have vegan flat bread! Unfortunately when we went, she didn?t haveany vegan baklava?s though. :( Read more
