Food 3/5, service 1/5, ambience 4/5 The sugarhouse location are way better than this location. I got the server who's... impatiently the whole time from the beginning we sat down. But I was hungry and familiar with their menu, because I normally goto Ozora in sugarhouse. Anyway, at first she was insisted that we sit by the front entrance door. The restaurant was pretty muchempty, only 1 table occupied by 3 customers. Food was okay, had one or two good and the rest were bland. By the time we need toorder more from menu, she came back and told us that we ordered too much. Because it was just me and my kid. Idk if she wants tohurry home or something like that. Anyway instead she came back with our bill. So I'll never be back and just stick the one insugarhouse. Read more

Has become my go-to sushi restaurant in town! Sushi is dependably delicious. Maybe not quite to Takashi level quality, but you... also don?t need to wait for 2 hours in line or plan your entire evening around getting a reservation here - so I?d say that?sworth it! Service can sometimes be a little slow, but the prices are really reasonable compared to other top sushi places likeSapa, Tsunami, Takashi, etc, and the food is fresh and delicious, and rolls are creative! Open late, no need for reservations, tasty - and even their to-go food is fantastic. Highly recommend for anyone who wants great sushi at a decent price without await. Read more

Fried cheesecake is absolutely amazing, as is the salad! Better than it looks cause I ate a lot of it before remembering to take... a photo. They were out of a few things, but overall it was a great experience and very good food. Read more

I'm gonna go out on a limb here with my review of Kaze. I'm super picky with my sushi, and for those complaining about the... price. Remember the old adage "You get what you pay for" good sushi is typically not cheap, and even here in Utah, it's hard tofind. But with Kaze, I was pleasantly surprised with how well such a small establishment can pull off their quality. I'vesampled several of their menu items, and I've loved every single bite. The staff, with it being a service industry job cansometimes be crass, but if you're understanding that they're people too, and we all have our off days, it makes life that muchnicer. Kaze has always done me right. Read more

Kaze sushi is a trendy, modern, sushi spot in downtown SLC. The Hamachi crudo was really tasty and fresh, with yuzu and ponzu... flavors. Didn't taste much of the truffle though. We tried the Rainbow and sugarhouse special rolls and they were good as well.I liked the Rainbow roll more than the sugarhouse, as the piece of lime topping was a little weird for me. The salmon sashimicame in thick cut slices, bigger than I normally see, but was good. Read more

This was a lovely surprise. I came in not knowing anything about this sushi restaurant. Every single sushi roll we tried was... delightful and unique. The sushi nachos were decadent, the sashimi delicate and flavorful, and the moonstone sake was smooth anddelicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend because you won't be disappointed ???? Read more

One of the best American sushi restaurants I've been to. Their menu shows an intriguing level of inventiveness. The sunset roll... was refreshing and well balanced. They have a delightfully complete menu of sake, wines, and beers. Read more

The only good thing about this place was the two sushi rolls that we ordered! The waitress acted like she didn?t even want to be... there and wasn?t nice at all but was very attentive to the group of drunk ladies in the corner and making sure they were alltaken care of! It took was way too long to get any of our food! After waiting a good minute for the waitress we had to goapproach her for a refill on our drinks and then again for our check! She never checked back with us so we could order moresushi, we actually went to another joint to eat more sushi and it was better! It?s a cute restaurant and very clean! Absolutelyover priced as well for sushi! If your into the yuppi experience then this is your place! Read more
