Fairly easy to get a table at this uniquely spot. Tucked away on 200s. There is a little side street or alley that has some very... cool artwork. Priced nicely. Clean and simple. Read more

Always good food and service :) I love that you can grab drinks at the bar next door and they bring your food over. Highly... recommend Laziz! Read more

Beautiful place. Easy to order and good food. Ordered Mediterranean platter and zaatar fries with garlic pesto sauce. Fries were... delicious, could not keep them down. Salad in platter was refreshing along with the flavorful rice. Would like to have moreoptions in the menu if possible. Read more

We have been to the central ninth location many times, but just heard that they opened this new location on the corner of 200 S... and Edison. We shared a lamb burger with roasted cauliflower on the side, harissa fries, dip sampler (hummus, labne, andmuhammara), kafta, and falafel. Both the fries and cauliflower were over-salted but otherwise the food was good. Read more

We visited Laziz Kitchen Downtown on a whim while on one of our photo walks this past Sunday, and it was fantastic. The staff is... friendly and helpful, and the food is tasty and fresh. They're one of the few places switching away from the sugar-loaded softdrink options and towards more sugar free and healthy beverage options. They also have multiple vegan/veg options, which isimportant for us. I had the Wrap with falafel and the portion size was much more than what I was expecting for the price. Thefalafel was beautifully crispy and flavorful (I've been to other places where the falafel is just a soggy mess and this was thetotal opposite). The non-veg folks in our group found plenty of non-veg options, and the vegetarians had just as many options asthe non-veg folks. This means a lot. My wife is from India and is vegetarian, and when we moved back to the US from India, finding vegetarian options was far tougher than I thought it would be here in Utah. Many places have pseudo-veg or half-heartedoptions, some of which aren't vegetarian at all (i.e., the places who put a green leaf next to their french fries which arefried in beef tallow.....), but Laziz Kitchen has a veg option for just about every menu item. It's nice to know that asvegetarians we have another great place to choose to dine with our non-veg friends and family! Read more
