Absolutely delicious! Very unique menu with a unique twist on cuisine. The service was great. I love how you can see the kitchen... working and their extremely clean fridge. Everything was home made and so fresh. We will absolutely be back. Read more
Lola is so aesthetic and the service we had was great! The larger tables look like they would be super comfy to be seated at but... the smaller tables are seated with tiny bistro patio chairs that are very uncomfortable. The chips and guac were good. Let me start with saying that the food is delicious. The flavors are delicious. The atmosphere is great, the service was... amazing. Drinks were tasty. We wanted to sample the tacos and the server let me do one of each of the carnitas and the shrimp(they typically come with 2 of each for the plate). Partner ordered the asada tacos. Each were cooked perfectly, flavors wereawesome, meat was tender. The only thing that we missed was the option of extra toppings... onion, cilantro, pico, hot sauce,etc. And we get it, it's an upscale taco dining experience, but the option of veggies would have broken up the abundance of meaton each taco. First dinner in SLC without my beautiful bride to be. This was a quick find when searching for new restaurants. It is a quaint... little building that was having work done on the front patio. Inside it was comfortable and inviting, like being at a goodfriend's house. The food was excellent. I had guacamole, Berkshire pork tacos and rice pudding. The guacamole was chunks ofavocado with sliced onions, not usually my preference but they nailed it. Pork was so tender it would separate with little to noforce. Both of these items were flavored perfectly for me. The rice pudding was excellent. I would prefer it a bit sweeter butthe cinnamon and citrus flavors were great. Having access to my own water was a big plus. Wish I could leave an extra star. Read more
A great lunch spot! Lola is a newer spot and I have wanted to try forever. The guacamole with shavings of parm on top was... incredible! A great starter. Steak Tacos: Might just be some of the best I have ever had, especially for lunch. The cut of meatwas trendy and juicy. There was a citrus flavor that elevated the dish to the next level. Upon entering Lola Mexican Bistroyou have a variety of drinks from Amazing hot chocolate, wines and really great signature cocktails. They have an artistic vibethat is very welcoming and warm. With their daily fresh ingredients and the quality of them, you?ll have no problems with agreat food experience. The food here is amazingly flavorful and creative! The menu just describes each item with a couple words, but that doesn't do... justice to the variety of creative ingredients that go into each dish. We got the steak burrito with guacamole which had a deepflavor and the meyer lemon steak and asparagus salad which was an amazing twist on a steak dish!
