This small sandwich shop boasts some of the best sandwiches I?ve ever had. Their sandwiches are all super fresh and the meat is... sliced there on site. The bread is also freshly baked in house. Their roast beef and Italian sandwiches were incredible. Weloved them both. The other great thing about this store is that it?s also a market. They sell high quality pastas, oils, sauces, and other items. They additionally sell really high quality and fresh cheeses and meats. Overall fantastic shop withincredible service and delicious food. We love the Mediterranean deli, my family has been coming here for years. The food is fantastic along with the super friendly... staff that has made us feel like family since the first time we stopped in. The deli has a nice atmosphere with great seating towatch state street while you enjoy your meal. The half and half spaghetti is unmatched. Be careful you'll have a hard time notcoming back for more. I love this little deli! It would be easy to overlook, but is worth a visit- for the deli counter, the sandwich counter, and/or... the little market. I made use of all three today! Excellent service, friendly employees. Highly recommend. Read more

Visited for the first time today, & had a wonderful experience! Everyone behind the counter was so friendly and the food was... delicious. Couldn?t leave without some pasta, cheese, and meats as well! Shoutout to Robert for being so kind, as well as thecute gal on her lunch break who was so helpful, I?m sorry I didn?t catch her name. We?ll be back! Read more

It was okay. I wish had more flavor. Bread and cookies were good. Service was excellent. But sandwiches was lacking flavor.

We came for lunch and the service was great! We ordered a Reuben, Metro from the Hot Sandwich category, and a kids spaghetti and... meatballs. We would have liked the hot sandwiches to be hot as they were actually cold but the flavor was good. Metro neededsome more flavor and cheese. Marinara sauce was very flavorful and our son really enjoyed it! Overall fun experience! Read more

Was on my way to Jimmy John?s, when I saw this place and thought why not. How bad could it be? Or, better question, how good... could it be? Little I knew then what I?ve spent a year driving past. I had the Metro sandwich, which was delicious. Great breadand meat. Service was great, Amy at the counter was helpful and friendly. Prices are very fair. Lesson learned: Skip jimmyjohns. Go to the Med instead. Read more

The epitome of a locally owned and operated company. As I ate lunch, they literally greeted everyone by name! I haven't seen... that level of service in forever. Talked with someone behind the counter, and she was a descendent of the founders. Founded in1958, this place has stood the test of time. Food was awesome, staff was friendly, and the portions were perfect. I lovepromoting local stores. This one hit every one of the attributes that I love about local business. Go check these guys out! And thank you for reviving my belief in multi-generational family owned businesses. Read more
