Horrible experience! Me and my gf got the philly and the meatball sub. The philly barely had any steak or anything in it! Was... so dry and tasteless. The meatball sub had sauce so it wasn't so much on the dry side but the flavor was so horrible and thebread was so toasted it just didn't make for a good eat AT ALL. Also the older lady at the register taking our order was notthe friendliest and had a mean look on her face. This experience was not the greatest. The philly and meatball sub was such alet down and I eat those sandwiches so much in so many different locations. Speaking of location, maybe it was this specificMoochies that was bad. Either way I will never give them another try. The sandwiches were so dry and tasteless, even with metrying all 3 of their sauces (which all had similar flavor) it still didn't help out anything. It?s been a few years since we?ve come but we always get the Philly cheesesteak when we do. So good with the jalapeño sauce.... Not a lot of tables inside but plenty outside on their patio. Many of the outside tables have umbrellas which was nice.Definitely want to come back and try many of their menu items, especially their meatballs. Read more
Know what you want, yes even if you haven?t been there before. The workers are in a hurry and so are the people in line. Do... yourself a favor and eat your meal on the cute patio. I ate half of my delicious meatball, feta, and jalapeño cream sauce subat the nearby Capitol, and then saved the other half. Don?t make this same mistake. I only realized my error when I went formore. The bread had absorbed every ounce of liquid leaving the meatball dry and the bread falling apart. Because duh, of courseit had! Moochie's is a classic! I know it's mostly known for its Philly, but their eggparm is outstanding! The staff is always friendly... and it's just the perfect place for a great sandwich! Read more
Heard of this on Triple D. We had the 6 in and 12 in meatball sandwich. Big meatballs, they were bready, eggy, perfect... seasoning. love the homemade sauce they put on the sandwich. Little heat, and tangy. The curds were ooey gooey with not toomuch breading. The pickle fries are good, again not over breaded. Onion rings were crispy and hot. Definitely a must visit. Read more
Went here randomly cause friend was feeling a philly cheese. I personally ordered 6" atomic meatball and 6" Philly. The jalapeno... sauce was recommended to me as well at no extra cost so I decided to give it a try. While sitting down I saw a poster forpickle chips and decided to order a regular. Person at register suggested jalapeno sauce again so I said yes. When I got thefood everything tasted great including the pickle chips. The jalapeno sauce went well with everything as well. My friend enjoyedhis Philly cheese too. We were very happy with the food and service and will come back more often. Read more
Great stop. Philly cheese steaks Tatar like back east, meatballs are the real deal and everyone seems to know what they?re... doing. Outside seating with plenty of parking in front around back or nearby. Definitely recommend this spot. Read more
The sandwiches here are awesome!!! I had the atomic Meatball and the meatballs and marinara were incredible enough but then they... add a jalapeño sauce and I couldn't get enough. It was too spicy for my wife which meant more for me. It was just enough heatto give it an edge but not too much. My wife had the Philly cheese steak and it was great too. The fries and variety of sauceswere really good. Service was quick and prices were reasonable. It was a nice, sunny day so we sat outside to eat and watchedthe world go b6. Read more
