Service was very good. Of the items we ordered, the sourdough bread was definitely the star of the night. Roasted cabbage with... the whole grain mustard ricotta was inspiring. The duck breast was okay, however it was certainly not medium as ordered, it wasmore towards a medium well very close to well done, which for $41 was somewhat disappointing, flavor was fine, but it wasdefinitely overdone. Oquirrh is a fantastic newish restaurant to Salt Lake City. For appetizers, get the Milk Braised Potatoes, the Roasted Corn... Salad, and the 12 year sourdough bread. All have incredible flavor. The main dishes were a hit with our group too: the marketfish was salmon, the Niman Ranch Frenched Pork Chop, and the House made Campanelle Pasta. Each was perfectly cooked andbeautifully plated. Vibrant colors and perfect seasoning using the right balance of salt, fats, acid, and heat to make this oneof the best dinners I?ve had in SLC in years. They were extremely knowledgeable about gluten and how to easily modify theirdishes for a gluten free experience. Read more
First visit and it didn't disappoint! We walked in without reservations, about an hour before closing, and were met like we were... old friends returning from a long time away. Our server, Ada, was excellent!! Fresh homemade sourdough bread with radish slicesstarted off the meal. We had the Pork Chop and the market fish. A glass of Malbec and a craft beer accented the meal, and wefinished the evening with a scoop of sorbet. Great food, great experience! Read more

Eclectic, local restaurant near downtown Salt Lake City. The food is original and creative, but didn?t always hit the mark. The... sourdough bread is a must, and the small plates, such as the cauliflower, are excellent. The trout and duck were creative andflavorful with an Asian twist, but tended toward overdone. We tried the pot de creme for dessert, which also was good, but notgreat. The staff and owner were friendly and charming. Overall, we enjoyed the food and would recommend. Read more
We have eaten at quite a few fine dining establishments in the greater salt lake area, but Oquirrh is hands down the best, and... at a much lower price point. The smoked cabbage was the star of the show. So many flavors and textures combined into somethingtruly transcendent. While the cabbage was the stand-out, any one of the dishes we ordered put the best dishes at otherrestaurants to shame. We will be back! Read more
Amazing service and aesthetics. The flavors were amazing. I went here for my birthday on Monday night and made a reservation for... 6pm just in case, and I'm glad I did because it quickly became busy. There are only around 10 tables though so even though theywere full, it still felt intimate. Read more
