Checked out this hidden gem near the University of Utah campus with some friends & we all really enjoyed it. The pasta noodles... are unique & authentic. The pizza was really saucy, which was the only complaint, but otherwise delicious. I loved seeing thewood fired oven in the restaurant too. The duck & veggies were cooked to perfection. We grabbed 4 desserts. My favorite was thepistachio gelato!! It was amazing! Tasted like it has a hint of caramel in it. Tiramisu was also really good. Loved the crèmebrûlée! Wish the caramelized sugar was a little thicker. 100% recommend this restaurant!! Read more

We just ate here for our wedding anniversary and we had a great experience! My husband says this is his favorite Italian... restaurant compared to Caffe Molise, Sicilia Mia, Or Celeste, and some other Italian restaurants we’ve been to that aren’tworth naming. Their Seafood was fresh, bread was delicious, pastas were so yummy, gelato are made in-house (I ordered tiramisuand hazelnut), and their price wasn’t ridiculous. Yes, there were a few flies in the restaurant, but they leave their dooropened for patio service which is unavoidable. Their service was wonderful, and the food came out hot. We spoke with the ownerafterwards and he told us we should’ve told our server that we were celebrating our anniversary and they would’ve given us adessert cake, but honestly, we were so full I don’t even think we would’ve been able to finish it! Overall, we had a greatexperience and will visit again! Thank you Osteria Amore! Read more

You ???? must ???? go ???? here!!!! This is our favorite restaurant in all of Utah. We have been coming here at least 1-2 times... a month for the last year. The owner is from Italy, and has incredible experience in the high end restaurant industry. He is oneof the best humans around, and he has created an experience of Italy right here in SLC. All of his staff are the best you couldask for. The way they all present the menu sounds like a chef describing his favorite cuisine. We love all the food, drinks, desserts. You cannot go wrong with anything you order. Our personal favorite is the Angus Ribeye Steak. We order this almostevery other time now. The service is very thoughtful, authentic, knowledgeable and kind. They have been known to customize someappetizers for special occasions as well. If you’ve been thinking about going here, this is your sign. Time to go! Thank melater ???????? Read more

We had a wonderful experience. The setting and ambiance is incredible and the food was truly unmatched. Skylar offered great... service and conversation throughout our night. We got the calamari appetizer, the tuna steak salad, the mushroom pasta, andgelato for dessert. We also each enjoyed a refreshing cocktail. Everything was fabulous. The pasta was one of my favorite dishesI have had in Salt Lake. The gelato was easily the best I’ve had outside of Italy. We will definitely be back! Read more

Excellent food and service. The quality of food was excellent. The attentiveness of the staff was keen. However something was... just lacking to give it the 5 stars it should have deserved. We will give it another try and see how it is in the future. Forme I like a good balance between quality and quantity. If the focus is quality but I still need to grab a bite later to getcompletely full, then the fancy meal needs to knock my socks off. I felt my meal was pretty good. The noodles were fantastic, the sauce was great. Both things I definitely would not be able to make at home. However, there was an overuse of salt and thequantity was small. I am not sure if it was the pancetta but my meal was very salty. An hour later I could still taste the saltand had to make a sandwich because I was still hungry. The atmosphere seemed to be a bit quaint for my liking. You might likeit but I felt it was a little claustrophobic. I had to "enjoy" the neighboring table's conversation because we were so close tothem. It was a dinner for two and we spent $85. We will give it another try but I don't feel it was worth that price. Pros -Great Scenery and Setting -Great Customer Service -Food Taste Great -Fast Service Cons -Somewhat Costly Went there at... noon with a reservation and it was practically empty, that being said we got very good service. It was my significant othersbirthday and they brought her a birthday dessert without me even asking, I was very thankful. The entrees and dessert werereally good. Highly enjoyed dinner here. The food was good; we shared two antipasti, a pasta, and profiteroles for dessert because my fiancé... is a light eater. The waiter (Christian) was friendly and made helpful suggestions as to choices between options. Therestaurant on the right side where we were seated was a little loud; next time I’ll request the left side that seemedquieter. I think the food is reasonably priced for the quality of ingredients and the high level of staffing. Lovely. Read more

This is an easy 5 stars. Each plate was incredible. The environment was warm and peaceful. I was not a fan of the bruschetta,... but the other appetizers were incredible. The steak was incredible cooked medium. The sauce made it even that much better. Each of the meals were incredible. We finished off two bottles of delightful white wine to accompany our meal. The dessert wasalso fantastic ice cream! Highly recommend this place. Read more
