First stopped at another local brew pub, but the wait was 45 minutes so moved on to Squatters. So glad we did. The atmosphere... was so much cozier. We sat at the bar and enjoyed talking with the bartender. Custom craft cocktails and good recommendations onlocal beers. Surprised to see calamari on the menu and it was really good. Steak was cooked a little rarer than ideal, but thefries were good. Highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich - delicious and not too saucy. We will return if we are ever in SaltLake City again. We had a terrific experience at Squatters, my favorite place to let down when I travel to SLC. The beer flights are great from... one end to the other, and we enjoyed the fried pickles. The macaroni and cheese is great, and we loved the meatloaf! Alsonotable were both the bread pudding and the beeramisu. The vibe is fun and lively and the service is prompt and friendly. I’llkeep coming back and sending my friends! Read more

The staff was very nice ???????? The food was okay (although the sandwich bun was excellent). It’s a shame you can’t make... reservations - we came as a group and had to eat separately. All in all everything was fine ???????? Read more

Ate here for dinner as we were passing through and needed a place that allowed dogs. We had a very enjoyable dinner on the patio... and the food was delicious and our server was great! If we lived closer, we would definitely be back often :) Thank you for alsobeing kid friendly. Our 2 older teenage kids were not allowed in the 2 previous places we tried to eat at so we reallyappreciated that a lot! Read more

We have visited this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. They brew their own beers and offer many other... brands. The food is excellent and the service is fast and friendly. It is located close to the city center and within walkingdistance of many hotels and the Salt Palace. Give this place a try if you are in the Salt Lake City area. Read more

I debated between rating it a 3 or a 4, but decided to go with a 4 in the end. First off, I had my heart set on a pub pretzel.... Their pretzel had a good yeast flavor and it looked amazing, but…. I honestly think they had stuck it in the microwave toreheat it because the top part was hard as a rock. So disappointed there. Also had a fig and cinnamon old fashioned. It wasalright, didn’t knock my socks off. Tasted like they made it with fireball instead of bourbon so that was kind of ‘meh’.The buffalo chili was pretty good and I would order it again. They brought my husband the wrong burger- he ordered bison andthey brought a black and bleu. They didn’t apologize or anything, but he ate it anyway and said it tasted amazing. Since itturned out well in the end, they recovered a point so I’m going with a final rating of 4. Would I come here again? Maybe…but it wouldn’t be my first choice. Read more

Stopped by as wanted to try the local beers while visiting Salt Lake City. Came on a Sunday night without reservations, but was... immediately able to find seating at the bar. The dining area was pretty full, but there were open seats at the bar. Bartendercame right over to explain their drinks and menu, then took the orders. Started off with the Squatter's Hells Keep Golden Aleand then tried the Wasatch Brewery Guava Rosa. Both beers were very good. Very relaxing environment to enjoy some drinks whilewatching some sports on the TV's behind the bar. There were quite a few beers on top, but I opted for the local beers in thecan. I just came from dinner, so was too full to order a meal, but was able to watch all the food being made in the openkitchen and brought out. I wish I had some room to eat as all the plates looked delicious. I did save room for a peanut butterchocolate pie that was really good if you like peanut butter. Not exactly the perfect pairing with a beer, but couldn't resisttrying it. Nice place to come for dinner or just have casual drinks at the bar. The hostess and the waitstaff were veryfriendly and attentive. Didn't get to try any of the main courses, but they looked great and was fun having few drinks at thebar. Read more
