I was torn about whether to leave 4 or 5 stars. That had a good burger. I mean, it tasted like good fresh ingredients, but the... burgers just weren?t very flavorful. I got the pastrami burger. I couldn?t even taste the pastrami. The sauce was great. And Iwould go back for the zucchini pickles. My wife got a proper burger. It was pretty bland except for the zucchini pickles. Iloved how fresh and soft the buns were. I would probably go back and try one of their spicy burgers. Hopefully they would havemore flavor. Read more
Amazing! Love that they have their own brewery and there's options for shakes and can cocktails! The basics.. Like the fries.... They are amazing! Hamburgers, same! Definitely worth the visit. Read more
First time to Proper Burger and it was excellent!! I ordered the Johnny Utah burger. It was monstrous flavor explosion. Love... the way they cooked their fries... Crispy, nicely salted. Service was incredibly fast and friendly. One of the best burgersI've had in SLC! Read more
AMAZING BURGERS!!! We came down from Montana for the weekend! We are always looking for a good burger and Proper Burger did not... let us down! There are so many options! Both the fries (fresh cut they look like) and the onion rings (real beer battered rings)and the proper sauce and frie sauce were all great as well! We tried the Whispers of the Pirmordial Sea, and not really beingbeer drinkers have to say it was pretty good!! We will definitely hit up Proper Burger when we come back!!! Read more
A great burger joint for grab and go or casual dining. Tried the Rising Sun this visit. Great blend of flavors - I particularly... enjoyed the fried egg and kimchi. Fries were a little soggier than I prefer but the fry sauce was delicious. Would visit againfor a casual beer and burger night. Read more
We were there today in the afternoon and the burgers were fine nothing amazing. We went cause we saw thousands of reviews but... the French Fries on both our orders were very burnt. We didn?t eat them the onion rings were fine but very greasy. I literallyhad to use napkins to take off the excess oils. We ended up dumping our fries cause I didn?t want to deal with making acompliant at the register and being a Karen. So I just decided to cut it short and leave. The sauce that came with the fries wasactually really good. I give this place a 2 stars ???? Because the burger was fine and the sauce was fine but the fries were ahuge let down. I only took a pic of the fries at the end before we dumped them. Luckily this place isn?t too expensive it?squite affordable actually but yeah who ever burns the fries?has to fix them. First time visiting Proper Burger after living in the area for 7+ years and we aren?t really sure how we truly lived before... now?! Everything was amazing! We really enjoyed the rising sun and proper burgers. In addition, the fries, onion rings, saucesand drinks were all to die for! Bonus that the staff set up a chair and table for us out front to dine with our pup! We weresuper grateful for the hospitality! First time coming here. Was extremely hungry and wasn't disappointed. The burger was one of those you can't get in your face... fast enough as it melts in your hands. Thing had great flavor, good ingredients, extremely filling. Fries were decent but camefor a good burger. If that's what your looking for they definitely deserve your business. Read more
