Too expensive for the portion. I ordered my rice bowl with the cano style beans and was disappointed that I got less than 1/4... cup of black beans. Even if you?re cheap skimping on black beans doesn?t make sense. The meal probably cost $1.50 to make (92%rice, 4% pork, 2% beans) and they charged $13. We have been to multiple Rumbi?s before but did not have a good experience tonight. We ordered a steak bowl with veggies. The... veggies were barely cooked, not warm at all, they looked and tasted almost raw. The steak was also not warm and was tough. Wepurchased loaded fries and there were hardly any toppings. And it didn?t even come with fry sauce. Based on the experience andthe price of this meal we could have gone to a much nicer restaurant for the same price. Read more
The employees here are unprofessional. We came to this location and bought 3 kids meals and they told us kids meals get WATER... only. We've been to 2 other locations and the kids meals received soda/juice cups. I asked if the menu varies store to store andthe manager was rude and said they get a water lady. I got upset and just paid. I filled my cup up with the raspberry lemonadeand filled the kids cups with it and walked out. Read more
One of the most disgusting meals I?ve ever paid for. Very disappointing because I used to go to Rumbi years ago and I remember... thinking it was so good. The quality of food has clearly diminished to the point where the meat was actually making me feelnauseous. Don?t ever go here, Mo Bettahs is 10000x better if you?re craving island food. Thank you for a better experience than we were expecting. The only reason this is a 4 and not a 5 is the price, but I suppose it... is comparable in price to other order-and-sit-down restaurants. The food was yummy, but the service even better! We almostdidn't come in, but got in and were kindly treated by Emma. She was friendly and made great food suggestions. The pork and BBQsalads were tasty, especially with the jalapeno ranch dressing. It was "liquid gold". Read more
A friend had a buy one get one free coupon. She was using it for my birthday lunch. The girl at the cash register wouldn't let... the two of us use it. She said they had a policy that you could only use one coupon in a group and a friend had already gonethrough before us, ordered and paid using a $5.00 coupon. I said the two of us would sit at another table...she did not care. Policy was policy. I said nowhere on the coupon did it say people who came together could not sit at different tables and usecoupons...she didn't care. The man who brought our food to the table also said it was policy, again I said it should say thaton the coupon...he said it did...it didn't but he didn't care.
