My family and I have always loved TDR, so much that we signed up with them to be a caterer at our daughter?s wedding. Right from... the time he arrived, Christ (servers name) seemed to have an attitude. After the reception I got some family and friend feedbackthat Christ was ?rude? and a ?jerk?. Very unfortunate. I am a fan of cabeza tacos, and these were not nearly as good as others I have tried elsewhere. The asada tacos were alright,... but they put some weird seasoning that almost tasted like that taco seasoning mix you can buy at any supermarket. So, I'll goagain sometime, but for now I am unimpressed. Read more

I should be absolutely clear about my review here, because I have to readily admit that I'm biased. I love tacos. If you serve... me a good taco, I will rate you highly. It's just the way I operate, I guess. Tacos Don Rafa serves some of my favorite streettacos in Salt Lake City. The price is good, sure. The portions are good, sure. But the meat? It's excellent. The tortillas areperfectly cooked. The thing that seals it, though, is the red salsa. It's a nice combination of roasted and hot, and my word, Iwant this every time I have a taco over the next year. These guys stayed open just to get me there last tacos in the pouring rain. Food was excellent! Give them a try.
