I believe there is new ownership. I loved this food before, like it was my favorite Mexican restaurant in Salt Lake. They served... home-style Mexican food like gorditas and mole. Gorditas with picadillo was the best thing on the menu and gorditas are nolonger offered. Since the new ownership, I?m not sure it is worth coming anymore. About as good as Beto?s or Rancherito?s. Went to this place to try the Gorditas, but they no longer serve them. Had the chile relleno burrito and the chicken taco... combo. Flavors were excellent! Portions great! Rice and beans so good!! A little pricey, but they clearly take pride in theirfood and flavors! Read more
Your understated taco dive joint... and I mean that with the highest accolades possible. My kind of place... Anthony Bourdain's... too. You feel like you are about an hour outside of Zihuatanejo, where the tourists don't know anything about it... and thelocals want to keep it that way. Very tasty tacos on the most perfect corn tortillas. However, the Gorditas were killer and arethe star of this place! Perfectly crisped and not over "doughy". Everything was fresh. staff were polite and the food camequick... and was hot, not warm... hot. Table red and green salsas were both good and spicy. My new Tuesday gig. Read more
Heard this place was great and never have time to try it. They?re on DoorDash so got it delivered. You can judge a place really... quick by the quality of the their delivery set up. This place delivered delicious tacos and gorditas. It was delicious and thesalsa was tasty! Read more
Excellent homemade food although a bit pricey. Obviously this family business takes pride in the quality they serve. Nice to... see three generations come together and survive through the pandemic. I came right before they closed and they only had 3 options for tacos remaining for the day. I got the chicken and beef and... potato tacos. I was definitely not disappointed. They open at 8:00 a.m. for breakfast, so keep that in mind for a new favoritebreakfast place! Really Fresh ingredients, really good rice and beans too. I love these little taqueria places! First thing, they are under new ownership but share the old Google entry. As a result most of the photos and menu are wrong, for... example they don?t have gorditas. That said the new menu is very good, we?ve been 3 times in two weeks. Highlights are the allmeat carne asada burrito and the pork green chile burrito with rice and beans (spicy).
