Absolutely amazing meal, and flawless customer service! The ribeye with balsamic on the chefs choice was great, same with the... Steak with shrimp tails. The drinks were all super delicious. The Lobster bisque is a must have, as well as the Lobster mac &cheese. You will not be disappointed here. They were also very Decorative for our occasion here. We will be here again! Read more

We decided to celebrate our special occasion at Capital Grille and even though they were pretty busy for a Wednesday night, they... still made us feel special. The steak was delicious, the meat was so tender and moist. The highlight if our night was theamazing dessert. We would go back just for the cheesecake. Read more

This place is pretty top tier, in my opinion. A very nice establishment! I experienced The Capital Grille in California and it... became my favorite steakhouse. I was incredibly happy to hear that one had opened up in SLC. I came here for my birthday, andthey helped make it an incredible evening with absolutely amazing food. I went with a small group of friends, and we all gotsomething different. I went with the Aged NY Strip with Cognac sauce, incredible, juicy, flavorful and a joy to eat. I also gotto eat the Lobster Mac & Cheese, Pan Fried Calimari, Brussel Sprouts. All of the table sides were absolutely delicious, not amiss. It was pure joy to eat those, I don't think I could choose a favorite, honestly. Staff, super friendly and are there tonot only do their job, but to make sure your experience eating at the capital grille was memorable. I would recommend it overother Steakhouses in the area, and I will return, as many times as I can. Read more

Alicia was our server and she was more than wonderful! Food was equally amazing! Came here on our honeymoon and staff was so... excited for us and even gave us a card and dessert! I got the NY strip and husband got the ribeye with balsamic vinegar. Alsogot the mashed potatoes and lobster bisque which was the best I’ve ever had! Hands down 10/10! If anyone sees this please tellAlicia she’s the best as well!! Read more

What a phenomenal experience! From beginning to end, my wife and I were wowed and impressed. If you want to be taken care of for... your special occasion, come to The Capital Grille! I can't say enough good things about our dinner here. Even before we steppedin, making a reservation online is extremely easy! The hostesses are friendly, accommodating and professional; and when we wereseated the table was decorated for my birthday with small pieces of metallic confetti and even had a handwritten card. Wequickly received the menu, they got delicious, warm bread and ice-cold water out to us while we waited on our beverages andafter placing our order, we enjoyed champagne and the appetizers while waiting on our food. Every dish was amazing! I highlyrecommend the parmesean-crusted tomahawk veal chop, obviously made to order: so tender and juicy and flavorful. Incredible.Their ultra creamy mashed potatoes are also a must! Desert was on the house for my birthday, with a sentimental presentation. Our waitress, Autumn, was WONDERFUL! Attentive, personable, and effective. She frequently asked how things were and ifeverything was up to our standards, which was much appreciated. From beginning to end, we were catered to and we relished everyheavenly bite. Pricey, but worth every penny. We look forward to returning sometime soon! Thank you, Capital Grille, for makingmy day so special! Read more

The food and the service were impeccable. Took my wife here for our anniversary. The prosciutto wrapped mozzarella may very well... by the best appetizer I have ever had. The bone in filet mignon special was amazingly flavorful and tender, the tuna wasexcellent. Daniel took great care of us. I have been to most of the prime steakhouses in Salt Lake and this is one of the best. Read more

We dined at the Capital Grille for our anniversary. They truly went the extra mile to make everything special and it showed.... When we arrived the table was decorated and had a handwritten anniversary card waiting for us. We ordered cocktails - theblackberry sidecar and the Cosmo and they were great - strong in the best way. We then had the lobster and crab cakes for ourappetizer along with the complimentary breads. The bread was fresh and delicious. The lobster and crab cakes were great! Theyhad plenty of large chunks of meat and were very flavorful. Next, we shared the French onion soup. Next time I would definitelyeach order our own, because it was so incredible I didn’t want to share! Truly the best I have ever had, and I can’t stopthinking about it even still! For our main course my husband had the special of the night, a bone in filet, and I had the konacoffee rubbed filet with shallot butter. Both were absolutely fantastic - cooked to perfection, juicy and tender, and so muchflavor. For our sides we had the lobster Mac and cheese and the soy glazed bacon Brussels sprouts. Whatever you do, DON’T skipthe Brussels sprouts! They were AMAZING! The lobster Mac was also so delicious and cooked extremely well with large pieces oflobster throughout. With dinner we also had a glass of I believe the summer breeze rose and it was excellent. For dessert wewere brought a cute plate that said happy anniversary that had a sampling of their chocolate espresso cake and brûléecheesecake with fresh berries. We also ordered a crème Brûlée. All three desserts were delicious. I have never had cheesecakebrûléed and it was to die for. We can’t wait to go back and dine here again. The experience was so fantastic and the foodwas incredible! This was my first time eating here and I’m so happy I did. Our waiter Joseph was friendly and attentive and did a great job... answering questions and taking care of our drinks. The manager came over and checked on us after our meal, which was nice. Notpictured is the lobster bisque and French Onion soup. Both were delicious, the Lobster Bisque was the best I’ve ever had. Nicechunks of lobster and even a whole claw. We got the special for the entree. Bone in Filet and South African Lobster tail. I’vehad plenty of filets and tails in my time. The tail was the most delectable, non fishy, not chewy, and most delicious tail thatwe have had. The filet was perfectly cooked and tender. By far the best we’ve ever had. A lot of bests here. Better than RuthChris, better than Teton House and Morton’s. We also go the fresh mint lemonade, I could drink a gallon of that a day. Fordessert definitely recommend the cheesecake and coconut cream pie. As pictured they were delicious. For sides we had BrusselSprouts and Lobster Mac. This has been the best fine dining we’ve experienced. Looking forward to going back. Read more
