I’ve come here half a dozen times and always get the Greek salad or gyro, the Greek past salad is pictured. Like any diner,... the portions are a little too large and so is the menu. However, there’s a charm that I truly like every time I come in and Isimply must give five stars. Read more

Sorry, this may seem malicious, but businesses like this need to go under so they can be replaced with people who care about... their customers. The response from the owners is insulting. So I'd like to adjust my review. The food is awful, and the ownersare at best delusional about it, at worst dishonest. The salmon was not broiled, at least not recently. Note the whitecoagulation of juices. This is exactly what you get from a deli case in a grocery store, cold. Even if it had been heated up(which I doubt) in a microwave the fibers would be loose and flake off. These were densely compacted. I eat salmon several timesa week. This was not heated recently. It doesn't matter how the potatoes were prepared. They tasted like those from a box, sohow they were actually prepared is moot. (Box mashed potatoes can be "prepared" "in house".) Note no rebuttle over thevegetables. The ONLY place you find those little square carrots are from the freezer isle, and these were dried out toboot. You don't have to believe me, go ahead and try it, but I've warned you. Then try the _broiled_ salmon at fiddler's elbowwith freshly cooked vegetables and real potatoes. Here is my original review: Awful. I’m floored at other reviews. Salmon isbland (was it boiled?). Potatoes from a box. Peas from frozen package. Clam chowder- no flavor. You’re better off throwingsomething together from cans and the freezer. That’s probably where this is from. Read more

Ate at The Other Place for the first time. Lydia was our waitress and she did an excellent job answering our questions and... explaining about different dishes we were interested in. The whole experience was very fun. The food was plentiful, and yummy. Definitely will be returning!!! Read more

The Other Place is the pinnacle of nostalgia for me. Greek diners are such a staple in Salt Lake, but none of them hold a candle... to this place. The menu is so cool and varied. Everything is so consistent and delicious. And there’s a ridiculous amount offood for a small amount of cash. It’s just a perfect mash up of factors to create a great experience. I remember gettingbreakfast here with my dad over 20 years ago. It’s the same as it was back then, just a great throwback with comfort classics. Read more
