Absolutely love this bar! First time there and it was a blast. Also the bartenders are amazing.
I grew up in San Angelo... left for the Marines and have come back from time to time over the years. It wasn't until this trip... to move my last family member (uncle) out of Angelo. So we looked for a good place to toast his departure from Angelo and found19 Thirty Three. LOVED the vibe, atmosphere, and of course the whiskey selection. Our bartender knew his stuff, thanks Joey forthe convo and drink recommendations. What made the trip extra sweet was seeing a high school buddy walk in and sit right nextto me. Had to come here twice. A true whiskey bar. They know their way around an old fashion. GREAT
Great atmosphere and large selection of bourbon. If you ever want to try a bourbon all the ?tater hunters? hunt this is the... place. Friendly bartender. Sat at tables, but ordered at bar. When we went to pay they said our server had the ticket. We hadnever seen a server the entire time we were there. It wasn?t a problem because the table area around bar is small and a serverisn?t needed. Just order at the bar. Which we did after sitting several minutes. Drinks were good and served with a clear iceball. Old fashion, double Sazerac, double Templeton and a Ultra lime. $31. Read more
Nice little bar. DH and I are over 50, so not normally our kind of place, but they have a large selection of whiskies and some... mixed drinks I was surprised to find so far west, like the Sazerac & Caipirinha. Loved the Smoked Chili Margarita. Read more
Really fun bar. I was surprised at how huge their selection was. The staff really knew their whisky and I was pleasantly... surprised to be introduced to some stuff I had not tried before. I will say the price point can get out there compared to otherbars but its kinda to be expected of a whisky bar. I will say that I really did not care for the upcharge when paying with acard. They phrase it as a discount but thats nonsense. If they are going to hold such heavy margins on their liquor they cancertainly afford to pay for their card transaction fees. The interior is beautiful and I really enjoyed chatting with everyonethat came out giving the place a very comfortable drama-free vibe every time I came. Read more
Finally got to experience the place I worked at during the remodel (sign painter)..as a customer. I absolutely loved it! Of... course I Love the new look... And the drink menu is impressive! All the varieties of whiskey you can imagine! And the bartenderwas determined to find something I liked! I liked that! Ha! I actually loved everything!
