I like the food in this place, it is very easy to order, fast food but healthy.
I have been here 3 times. First time, great! Huge burrito bowl, like I have loved for years. The last 2 times, oy vey? the... second time, I received a burrito bowl and I thought they had forgotten the rice. I then located a couple grains. It was supercold (ordered online) but apparently their systems were not talking to each other. On my end, my order went through, but theyapparently didn?t receive it. This lead to a 30 minute wait in line. I thought the lady gave me steak but it was just burntchicken ???? I decided to try again, but decided I?m going inside. The staff (first gentleman serving rice and beans) was SUPERNICE. The rest of staff looked like they hated their lives. Anywho, I noticed the line ahead kept saying more rice? it was myturn to order. I have eaten Chipotle in my years in Denver, Dallas and just had some week prior in San Antonio. They always give2 generous scoops of rice? this guy barely did an entire scoop. Which leads to a pretty small bowl. I asked for extra rice,twice, to receive the amount I was used to receiving at this establishment. Overall, I realize and understand this staff isstill training but it?s so expensive to not have portion sizes I?m use to at Chipotle. Hoping it gets better because I really doenjoy eating here. The absolute stingiest Chiptole I?ve ever been to. They won?t even give you a full scoop of meat. The line was huge, service... slow, and managers making sure they didn?t give customers enough of what they asked for. You?re better off hoping the otherChipotle has better service when it opens. Honestly just skip this place. This is the slowest place to get food. If I place an order for 8:20 pick up I shouldn?t be... wondering how munch longer at 8:45. The products(food) is already cooked why does it take more than an hour to scoop food fromone container and put it in another. Asked 5 times the name for the order and the fifth time (at 9:30) the manager reads offnames and says he doesn?t have mine. I showed him my bank statement, email confirmation with the number and the detailed orderdetails from the site. Update: got the order at 9:30 only for it to be wrong and missing 4 things. If nothing else tells you notto go, let this long message. They close in 20 minutes, I placed my order 2 hours before closing and still haven?t gotten it. Read more
Food was good, but way too expensive. We were there at 2pm on Monday, was still busy, people out the door. Flaws on the build,... store and parking lot too small to accommodate customers, kitchen way too small. It was so hot inside we had to leave beforedone eating, plus whatever they were cutting up in the back was making people's eyes burn, no ventilation. Hopefully 2ndlocation will be better planned. Good job, guys! The place was packed out, our food was only 3 minutes past the time they said it would be ready, which is pretty... impressive for being a brand new restaurant. My husband and I used to go to Chipotle a lot when we were younger. We were both excited that they finally opened one up in San... Angelo. I agree with some of the other reviews, this is the stingiest Chipotle we've ever been to!! It's not the employeesfault, it's the way they were trained. Every single time now I have to ask for extra meat (which you have to pay for!) Becausethey only give you half a scoop every single time! They are skimpy on the cheese too. If they could, they would give you thewhole bucket of rice though! ???? Why? Because it's cheap. They are trying to make as much profit as possible. Keep doing itthis way though and you won't be in business for very long. I love me some Chipotle and want them to succeed here, so if theyjust stop the stinginess they won't have a problem. Read more
