Their mac n cheese is really good and the pancakes are BIG! The syrup sucks just FYI !! The service is pretty good. The people... are friendly there just aren't many workers. Normally don't have to wait to be seated and the food comes out pretty quick. Allin all.. not a bad place to eat. Read more
I had just gotten back into town from working a long day and going to class for the rest of my day. I stopped in at huddle house... to get some food and relax before going home. I was exhausted and just looking for food and not in the best of moods. I sat downand was greeted by Izzy. She was very friendly and helpful with the menu. We had a nice conversation which helped turn my nightaround. What?s best of all was after telling her my day she dad the perfect suggestions of what to eat. By the end she had mademy day so much better and I had a huge full gut to go to bed with. I found the nearest manager named Jacob and he and I had awonderful conversation as well! The service was fantastic! Our waitress Izzy was so nice and greeted us with a friendly smile. She also made sure that our food... was perfect and even had the assistant manager Jacob take care of one of our orders that had been made incorrectly. They madesure we left 110% satisfied. For starters, I was super excited for the new restraunt that opened up in town. I was honestly hoping it would be just the thing... to give a bit of life to Angelo. Up until it came down to the service. Our waitress seemed like she either didn't care to workthere or was extremely new and placed by herself. Normally, I don't send food back to the kitchen, however because of lack ofcommunication from our waitress, there was items on my plate that I don't eat. Not to mention I was served a biscuit as hard asa "hockey puck" as the head man in charge put it. I also had to bother two other waitresses ( who keep in mind, we were notseated in their section ) just because our waitress didn't want to work. ( so it seemed )She was often times nowhere to be foundthe entire time we were visiting. She definitely showed back up when it was time for the check... The gravy was definitelydelicious as well as the tea. That however is probably the best part of the whole experience. Even though there were leftovers,neither my friend nor I decided to take them with us. It just didn't seem like the food would be good heated up again. Overall,the experience failed to hit a home run for the both of us. It will be a while before choosing to return. Read more
It wasn't like the one I went to in Eagle Pass which I really enjoyed. It seemed as if they were understaffed but everyone... helped everyone else and our service was great. I don't know if I'll return but if I do it would be to try a burger. Read more
Ate here for lunch after church on 2/13/22. Restaurant was still brand new here and it felt like they were still working out... issues. We were a large party of 7 plus a high chair and it took us an hour to be seated. They did check in with us 3 times inthat hour to let us know we weren?t forgotten and where we were in the order to be seated. The food was delicious and filling.Orders were taken correctly and delivered to our table within twenty minutes. Maybe if you have a large group, avoid Sundayafter church. Restaurant was clean as well as the bathrooms. Parking was ample and lot is well lit. Located on the north sideof San Angelo on Hwy 87, there?s a huge gas station next door and retail shopping right across the street. Hotels are less thana mile to the south. 4 stars only because of the long wait time to be seated. We will definitely return. Read more
Nice place, and clean. They made the place festive for Halloween. We had mozzarella sticks and they were mediocre. Wife had the... patty melt and was really happy with it. I had the stuffed hasbrowns with ham and cheese. It wasn't too bad. The saddest part ofthe meal was we got pancakes which by the way are pretty big so you prolly only need one. But the pancakes were good lookingand fluffy. They just had no taste. Might just be us but that's what we thought. Overall it was OK and service was alright butthere was no one else so not sure how it is when they are under pressure. We will probably not be back for breakfast but mighttry again for dinner if we are tired of everything else in Angelo. Read more
