I?m not going to lie I was a little afraid of the bad reviews as we don?t always go out for ice cream and I wanted this to be... special for my son. However, everything was excellent! Staff was very friendly and patient (I?ve never been here and having twosmall kiddos choose takes time). The place really could use a good deep cleaning but the ice cream was absolutely on point ! Ihonestly think it was my favorite Ice cream ever (it was a pecan blend one). Overall 5 stars just needs a deep clean. Read more
We took our boys here last week and it was a mediocre experience. The staff was polite and professional, the ice cream was ok... but the tables and floors were disgusting. Everything was dirty and sticky. There were bits of cone and old spoons and napkinsscattered all over the floor. Hoping our next visit will be different! Read more
If I could give ZERO stars, I would. We walked in 5-10 minutes before they were supposed to close (tight squeeze I know, but... figured they were open until 9) and the family that walked in right before us got served, but he looked at me and my family andVERY rudely in other words, told us he wouldn?t be serving us and went on about his business. Will never come back. 3 kids all about 16-17 years old working here right now as I sit with my wife and daughter. Two of the... staff jacking around laughing and don?t know what they?re doing. Water leaking off of counter onto floor by the slabs. Bothice creams we ordered are sloppy melted and one kid laughed as he handed it to my wife saying ?sorry it?s melted.? Too busy !!! Barely any ice cream flavors to choose from but yet loads of advertisements for flavors they don't have, so... what's the point? I ordered the Mocha Cappuccino Fudge ice cream cake for my husband's birthday. It was beyond mediocre. The flavor is described... as cinnamon and coffee ice cream but there was not one hint of either... For $35.00, you'd think there would be a redeemablequality to the ice cream. I mean... it's ice cream. It's hard to mess up, right? I honestly thought so until this purchase. I'veeven tasted goat's milk ice cream that was better than this (at least that one tasted like cheese, lol). This one doesn't evenhave a vanilla flavor... just sweet and tangy(?). I was excited to get this for him because he loves coffee ice cream. Butafter the first night of attempting to eat a slice of this cake, he hasn't taken a single bite. His only requirement for icecream is that it has flavor. This does not. A spoonful of sugar has more flavor than this thing. A spoonful of any artificialsweetener you can pick off the shelf tastes better than this. It really is a huge disappointment. Don't let the images on thewebsite fool you, look somewhere else. I regret making this purchase. Please don't waste your time or money on an ice cream cakefrom this Marble Slab Creamery unless your goal is to be disappointed. 1st time here and I got the coffee shake and their wasn?t anything really coffee about it, it was more of a vanilla shake with... chocolate swirl (a bit pricey for a shake. But I?m sure they have other good selling points like the add-ons (candy). Might givethem a second chance. Read more
Yesterday August 27th, I and an aquaintance met at the San Angelo Marble Slab for ice cream of course. I have been there the... third time since moving here and each previous time was enjoyable. However, yesterday several ice cream choices were out, Idesired a Banana Split and.... No bananas...neither of 3 employees wore safety gloves and hands were visibly touching theproduct. Each employee were handling money and lastly, the cones were stale. I still truly enjoy your ice cream and shall returnagain. But I believe these issues need to be addressed. Thanks Read more
