My family all enjoyed our various burgers. At first I thought we couldn?t get in but then saw the ?road closed? sign said... ?except for local businesses? and thankfully we went around the sign because we just found a treasure that we will be returningto when we come back to San Angelo! We all agreed that these were the best burgers we have had, and I loved the fried onionstraws! I can?t normally eat very much and my husband was surprised at how much of my burger and onion rings I ate, it was justso very good! The decor makes for fun table conversation and lots of laughs! Great food, nice people, fun atmosphere and you cansee the river from the outdoor patio- what else can you ask for? Read more
Myself and a few other parents along with 25 middle school cheer leaders came here for supper after a long walk downtown doing... a photo shoot. These guys at twisted root were great! Professional top notch service along with great food is what we got!! Weasked alot of this place, especially on a busy Saturday night with the 3 day music fest going on next door!! They wereawesome!! I hate to say it, but I wasn't thrilled by this place. The burger was just ok. Seemed a little dry around the edges, and the bun... fell apart after 2 bites. The fried pickles didn't taste like I am used to with the spicy taste. These had the crust falling offas soon as I picked one up. On a lighter note I liked the pickle bar, and my friend had onion rings that were really good. Read more
This place is delicious!! The place seems to always be busy and the line waits are long but the food was definitely worth it!... The shakes are amazing and I can say the best shake I have ever had, hands down! When you order you?re given the name of acelebrity which is fun and different. If you?re around make a stop here! Such a cute place. Very aesthetic. I love the decor. This place is very nostalgic and inviting. The theme is very cute too.... Whoever I wasn?t a very big fan of the ordering process. You have to order your food at the counter and then go to the bar toorder your drinks. And if u need additional drinks u need to go back to the bar to order more. Read more
Loved LOVED this place! The feels is awesome with road signs and license plates, and cool things in the tables (bottle caps and... pennies etc). And the food was amazing!! The thing I loved the MOST was that there was a vegan / vegetarian option, which is sorare for burger places. Also, their shakes are to die for. Read more
Frankly, I love the food here. I haven't even tried it all. I am disappointed in their vegetarian burger since my wife is... vegetarian and their vegie burger is just an old fashioned chickpea and blackberry burger. Where is the impossible meat? But theshakes are awesome and the way the call your order is fun. The (meat) burgers are fantastic, with all kinds of options includingmore exotic meats!
