Hands down best wings I?ve EVER had. I eat wings weekly, so while being a bold statement, I stand by it. I read about this place... in reviews for months and finally gave it a go. First off, the wings are huge. Five was PLENTY for me and I?m a grown man. What makes these things the best I?ve ever had? The sheer size, the crunch, and most importantly the sauce! Next time I?ll askfor them extra wet because I was smackin? my lips like a buffalo eating peanut butter. I also got a mini (it?s still big)Italian beef. I almost forgot I had it (and didnt need it) but I ate some of it while still hot. Delicious and spicy. Authentic. Next time I will definitely eat that there however as the cheese had cooled by the time I got home. Stilldelicious. I?d imagine if Jesus made wings though, this is what they?d taste like. Can?t wait to try other menu items. Gosupport this mom and pop shop, you will not be disappointed. My only disappointment, is that now anytime I get wings elsewhere,I?ll be thinking about the ones from A Chicago Bite. Read more
I'm from Chicago. I was not surprised about the quality of the food I ate. There are many imitators but this is as authentic as... it gets outside of Chicago. I ordered 6 jumbo wings with fries and pizza puff with 2 wings and fries. I had lemon pepper andmild sauce added which is a must when you order a pizza puff. The wings are indeed jumbo! Wow. I am blown away!! Stopped by today to buy the iconic Chicago buns of all things, and decided to also order food to-go and... I?m so happy we did. The food was AWESOME! Oh my goodness! I found this black owned restaurant while actually looking for another store. I got the Chicago Dog and the... fried Catfish. Yum! The catfish is real catfish, fried fresh and crispy. The toppings for the Chicago dog were on the side, butnonetheless amazing. The flavored lemonade wasn?t overly sweet and tasted just right. The interior of course has a Chicago,ILtheme. This really makes me want to visit. If you?re ever on the North side of San Antonio stop by and give them a visit. Read more
So we came here after passing by on our way to HteaO countless times. The owner was kind, patient enough to explain the menu and... takes pride in her establishment. Didn?t take long for all being fresh made to order. Everything we ordered was delicious. Mydaughter also had the cheeseburger and it was huge and juicy. The chicken was crispy perfectly seasoned and hot. The mild saucewas just the right balance of sweet and flavor to match. The fries were solid. The lemonades are just icing on the cake. We allleft with full stomachs and food on our clothes from all the goodness. I?m currently in food coma and the chicken and Italianbeef fries flavor is still resonating on my tongue. I love it here! I am from near Chicago so I was very excited to stumble across this restaurant. I?ve been here twice so far and... the food is amazing. It is always seasoned and cooked to perfection. I am so excited to be able to take my Chicago family andfriends here when they come to visit me. First time going and the place was so good. We tried the catfish steaks, jumbo chicken wings, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw and... cabbage. Catfish-great flavor. Mine could have been fried just a bit harder. Chicken wing-good flavor, crispy crust, bigwing Mac&Cheese-just plain old good Coleslaw-amazing Cabbage-great flavor but just a bit overcooked for me.
