It was an experience. Applebee's is not a restaurant that I plan to frequent or even occasionally dine-in at in the future. The... atmosphere was a noisy nightmare that resembled something kin to kids being left unsupervised. How so?? Aside from music so loudthat it drowned out my thoughts, there were: yelling customers, yelling staff, bar patrons had overtaken the bar, slow kitchenthat relinquished knowledge of steak temps, and slow to almost no service with my husband even walking around and locating to-gocontainers on his own. The more that I type, the more than I drop stars because honestly, my 16 year-old son could haveprepared this meal and would've have done a better job. That is saying a lot because my kid's best dish is scrambled eggs but,there would've been amazing service. This is actually the one occasion where I wished that we had gotten McDonald's and eatenthat as our date night meal. That being said... better service and lowering the music to a level where everyone did not have toscream at one another would have vastly improved the experience. Sometimes it's just enough to be away from home. But, it suckedand we felt like an inconvenience that had crashed a party that was already out of control at 10:30/11pm. Read more
Twas years since ive been back. I figured i give it a try since. ???? still very disappointed. Nothings changed. If anything it... got worse. A mouth full of powder batter to be exact. I guess you need to go to school to learn how to cook onion rings. Word ofadvice. Dont get onion rings unless you feel like throwing up. Read more
*update* This time I went here and I had me a chicken bowl and it was wonderful. I said at the bar and the bartender was pretty... cool. He kept my water filled every time I finished and was super kind and even recommended the bowl when I had hesitations ofgetting it. My experience here was amazing. Normally don't visit the chain places... but ... had a very pleasant experience today!! Gloria was a breath of fresh air and... very attentive. Refills on tea, recommendations on food and generally very happy to be taking care of us. The young ladies atthe front made rounds to clear plates. All-in-all a remarkable service experience with everyone we encountered. The food wasgreat as well!! Management should be proud of this team. Read more
Service was great. Spare ribs were dry but tender. Tried quesadilla burger, tasty, less calories without bun.
The food is awful went around 6pm and waited a good amount for the food to arrive and when it did the pasta looked like it sat... there for many hours and it was lukewarm, the steak I ordered tasted like leather and it was mainly fat, plus it tasted like ithad sat in the freezer and had gotten frost bite, and on top of all that it was cold. The staff was Im assuming busy because Icould hardly grab one to speak too but they were overall friendly I guess. Overall experience: Food was disgusting don?t wasteyour money. Read more
The appetizer was really good so was the drinks.The soup was warm not hot. I wasn't gonna complain because I was really hungry.... When it came out to our entrees. We just looked at it and it knew it was gonna be bad. Both of our pastas were dry, ourbreadsticks were burned and hard.My broccoli was salty and the chicken on the other entree was hard and dry. Ordered med steak got extra well done. Ordered french fries they were stale and cold. Broccoli was good. Shrimp was cold. Tea... was watered down bad. As for the husband ordered med well and got well, same gross fries but baked potato was good. We told themand they took my plate almost untouched but discounted like 3 dollars lol the waitress was friendly and sweet. Read more
