We arrived right at lunch and was able to order with no wait. The burgers are huge! I ordered the double cheese burger with... rings and fries. She ordered the Guacamole burger and fried mushrooms. Great old fashioned food! The guy making all the food did a phenomenal job. Burgers, fries, onion rings, fried mushrooms &... nachos tasted excellent! There?s just that familiar, I remember this taste from my childhood, sort of feeling you get when youeat this food. The char on the Patty and the coating on the onion rings almost bring back feel good vibes which makes this placesomething to remember. Employees were nice and helpful. Yes it did take awhile for all our food to come out but completely worththe wait. We will be back to enjoy these burgers. Read more
We are new to the area and tried this local spot off Potranco! We loved it! From the food to the jukebox it was perfect.... Everything that we ordered seemed to be homemade/battered!! The open kitchen concept is just a testament to their A rating onkitchen cleanliness. To top off a great place, they even offer military discount!! The only tip/suggestion I have is turningthe background music up when the jukebox isn?t being played. Read more
I order from here all the time since I live close and my mother loves it. My battery to my truck died in the parking lot and my... emergency jump box was dead also. I went in and asked if I could plug it in for awhile and the cashier said the store didn'thave outlets. Not any available but none at all. Maybe they didn't feel comfortable helping but to say there's none in thebuilding was ridiculous. Read more
Went in around 5:30 on a Thursday, not too busy. Food came out fast and fresh. Bacon burger and chili burger both very good.... They have fresh-cut fries. They are pretty good (I prefer cheap premade frozen ones????). Someone put some songs on the jukebox,was super loud and not my type of music, so we ate quickly and left. I ordered two of the Chicken tender plates to go so that I could take my husband lunch during his 30 minute lunch break on the... other side of town. My bill came to almost $30 which is what you can expect to pay for good food. Key word being ?good?. It tooklonger than normal and I overheard them saying that only one fry basket was working or something of that sort. So I waited andit took about 28-30 minutes so I had to grab the food and run to the other side of town in 15 minutes which was fine because Imade it in time. I opened mine and was immediately disappointed because everything was completely saturated in grease, it lookedunappetizing, and they had set the ranch on top of the hot fries which curdled the ranch and popped the lid off of the ranchcontainer. My husband opened his and picked up a strip which the chicken slid completely out of the breading. The breading onthe strips was soggy in some spots and a ?gummy? texture in others. The breading was a really dark brown which made them looklike they had been over cooked. I called and spoke with the manager (which I believe just so happened to be the one that cookedall this), and she said that I can bring them back and she would make more otherwise there?s nothing else she can do. I evenexplained to her how it would be impossible for me to bring them all the back and wait for them to make more and then come allthe way back in under 30 minutes before my husband had to get back to work. There was no apology or any attempt to keepcustomers coming back. Since that was pointless, a waste of $30 for inedible food, and short on time before lunch breaks wasover, the only thing that was even decent was the Texas Toast which I, of course, paid extra for. So we ate our Texas toast,maybe a couple of the grease drenched fries and had to toss the rest so my husband could get back to work. We came here for the first time on August 28th and we were really pleased. The flavor, juicy, wonderful hamburgers were... awesome. I was very happy to see how much bacon was on my hamburger. Not the usual 2 slices like other places. This place isway out of our way, but it is worth the drive and we will definitely come back. The friendly service was great too. Read more
Great place and great food, healthy portions. Couldn't finish, but I did when I had leftovers ???? Awesome onion rings, light,... not greasy. Mmm, fried mushrooms... Wifey got BLT comes with Texas toast, lots of bacon. Read more
