We visit this Bill Millers location often because we love the food. But this evening the young lady taking our order in the... drive through impressed us so much we had to call to ask for her name. Dora?s customer service was spectacular. We appreciatedher friendly tone, the way she confirmed each item I ordered, and even offered to put the whipped cream from my pumpkin pie onthe side so it doesn?t melt. (Something I otherwise wouldn?t have know I could ask for) After getting home, all my familiesorders were just as we ordered and her whipped cream suggestion made such a difference. Her thoroughness and friendliness madethis visit a great one. Thank you. Read more

I grew up with Bill Millers #1 store right down the street from where I lived. Southcross and Goliad. The building was nothing... special, but the food was stupendous. My family would go and get sausage, beef, or pork poorboy sandwiches from Mr. Miller andhis son's who worked there. Doug Miller and I became good friends and I worked with him at the #1 store for quite some time, battering their delicious fried chicken, making their trademark cole slaw from scratch fresh in The morning, putting a hugebatch of pint of pinto beans on to cook and, finally, those trademark hash browns that are cooked on the griddle until they'reslightly crispy and golden brown. From the time I was a child until today, 6 decades have passed. Things have changed, especially prices, but the food that Bill Miller has spread across Texas has never changed. The poorboy, the beef plate, thesausage, the chicken, all take me back to a time when food was real and delicious but is still available at each and every BillMillers Bar-B-Que. Oh man, don't forget the sweet iced tea in a Tea Bucket and a slice of heaven, pecan pie. I have always lovedthe brownies with nuts, though. And with that I'll let your salivary gland rest. Good eats are automatic at Bill Millers! Read more

I don't know why the employee thought this barbecue was fit to serve a customer. I asked for lean meat. The dinner plate came... with the barbecue swimming in sauce and barely visible. As I pushed through the two rock hard end pieces, I discovered slimyfatty pieces. Finally, underneath the mess I got two good, edible slices. My husband ordered turkey. Hard, dried out meat. Neverreturning to this place. Ever. To be fair, we have ordered takeout on 2 previous occasions and the food was outstanding. I justdon't know what happened. How could someone think this meat was okay to serve? Read more

This is one of the busiest Bill Miller's in town however, the drive thru was quick and the staff was extremely friendly. We... ordered the three piece chicken served with fries and the two meat plate brisket and sausage and sides and everything wasdelicious. Five stars on efficiency, customer service, taste, and affordability. We will definitely be back. Read more

Pulled in for a fast, but homemade, meal and wasn't disappointed! Fast friendly service, crispy & juicy fried chicken, and some... perfectly cooked green beans with smokey bacon! Add a soft & fresh bread roll with some iced tea for under $10 & "Mmm-Mmmmm!"you'd swear you were at your grandma's house! Only I wouldn't be in and out of my grandma's in 30 min and she wouldn't charge me???????? Read more

Glad to hear they reopened dining areas in all these stores so I came in this wet morning to try the breakfast tacos at this... location. Ms. Marbella at the counter was very friendly, listened attentively and repeated my "special" order back since I had afinicky eater who dislikes EGG, really? Anyway the place had about 3 diners, and alot of to-go peeps waiting inside instead ofgoing thru drive-thru that usually has long lines at this location off Bandera/Wurzbach. I always check my to-go orders whereverI go because of my picky spouse and I hate going back to correct what should have been made & checked before I received it. Sogood reviews for the line cooks! Everything was perfect. Her special no egg tacos were good and flavorful. Potatoes were alittle mushy and cold when I got home but still not bad. One thing management, just an observation...Please keep your insidefloors, chairs, & tables clean! It's the AM but it's as if no-one swept or mopped prior to opening. Guys you just reopened, makeit inviting, you want people to come back in! Anyway give them a try ???? Read more
