Wow!!! What an amazing and delicious dinner we had. Korean and Japanese cuisine is unforgettable and promising to fill your... belly up and that of your family?s. Forget Kumoris!! The presentation and the amount of food was worth the price. Not tooexpensive and just perfect!! Nice, warming, quiet atmosphere and very talented, kind, friendly and pleasant staff. First time coming here. The service was good. They were very attentive & filled our water frequently. I got the spicy chicken... teriyaki & my boyfriend got the spicy beef bulgogi. Both dishes came with miso soup & an egg roll. Both meals were ok butnothing special or memorable. The best part of the whole meal was the little Epoca Cool Plus drink they brought at the end.Neither of us had had this before. It was a creamy delight. Loved it! Read more
Was looking for something different, something new and Bowl & Box pupped up in my search. So I tried it out and it was worth... the trip. The restaurant is small but cozy, very hospitable. The service was impeccable very attentive to and guiding in howpicking a delicious dish. What I loved is that all the food was not placed up in one plate, you get mix how you want or like. The seasoning of the meats was right on and mixed so well with the vegetables served. Amazing! I?m definitely coming back totry something else. Read more
Super delicious ! My husband and I came in on a Friday and I had recalled eating at Bowl & Box a couple years back. So glad we... decided to come in because the food was extraordinary ! We both got boxes and were not disappointed. We recently moved to thispart of town and are so lucky to be close to this place. Cannot say enough amazing things about this place. Vegetarians can pass. Small greasy noodle dishes with not many vegetables or much taste. They did bring out more veggies when... brought to their attn. Cold soup. Staff was very friendly. Read more
Awesome little restaurant to get your Korean food fix. We went there on a whim when I saw they had kimchi and were just blown... away by how delicious everything was. The service was attentive and very friendly. We ordered the japchae box and spicy beefbulgogi box. They both came with banchan. As a nice digestive treat, our receipt came with two yogurt milks. After a long Friday, Bowl and Box was one of the few non-fast food restaurants open at 10:30pm. The staff was gracious enough... to keep the kitchen open. I got the spicy beef bulgogi bowl (extra spicy). It came with an egg roll, soup, and the entree. They even threw in a yogurt drink in case the spice was too much. It was awesome. Flavors were great and boy did it bring theheat. Definitely recommend for Korean in San Antonio. Read more
First time eating there, really friendly. Got a box of deliciousness after asking for a suggestion from the guy at the register.... I'm gonna take my boyfriend here next time I get chance.
