Looking for a light snack after a hefty breakfast, and not having anything to do for about an hour, I looked for a place nearby.... I found Café Cotidiano. And I was glad I did. It’s really good, and could be great.\n\nI ordered a pumpkin nut muffin and hotchocolate. The muffin was perfect! Sweet, moist, and perfectly topped with a coffee cake-like nutty topping. It was enjoyableand tasty in a way that allowed me to relish in the outdoor (only) seating on a warm Fall morning.\n\nThe hot chocolate had muchto be deserved, and is the reason I could not give five stars. Good hot chocolate is not that difficult. This one was devoid ofany but a hint of chocolate taste, and instead bathed my tongue in hot chocolate-like water. Maybe put some whipped cream to addsomething?\n\nThe employee was so kind, which is appreciated. But my limited Spanish limited our interaction. That was a littledisappointing, but not too detrimental. She was kind and willing to help my pathetic attempts at speaking. But the experience ofsitting underneath a canopy of trees on clean seats and tables was truly enjoyable. Read more

Best Iced Coffee I\'ve Ever Had! Visited Cafe Cotidiano after hearing about their mission from my best friend, and I was so... excited to support their cause. Little did I know that their Empianda and The Southtown. The Mexican Vanilla flavor in that icedcoffee is out of this world! Additionally, I lost something during my visit, and the ladies went out of their way to help mefind it! I am so inspired by Cafe Cotidiano\'s mission and so enjoyed their yummy treats. Read more

Delicious coffee, I had the latte with café olla. A food truck set up with easy parking right beside it. The woman working told... me they also sell pupusas and empanadas on the weekends! Will definitely be back to try those and the pastries.\nThe wholeoperation is based on suggested donations (suggestion was $5 for my drink) and directly supports individuals who are seekingasylum here in San Antonio. I love the mission of the place, and as stated: the coffee is top notch. Read more
