I had such a great time here! I only enjoyed the frose and fried pickles but all the dishes looked delectable and my friends... enjoyed them. Also the decor and ambiance was so relaxing. The staff was courteous and helpful. I can?t wait to go back! Read more
We wanted a good, outdoor dinning dinner location to celebrate a good buddies promotion. We named many and he decided on Camp... Outpost. The place is so awesome. The food was great. Customer service to match, especially Jared at the front register. Veryknowledgeable of the menu items and courteous. Good food, cool drinks & chill vibe. I LOVED the roasted chicken with chimichurri, arugula and Yukon potatoes! The staff was... friendly and service was quick, even with one of our orders being forgotten. My kids loved the chicken strips and the specialtyranch! The burger was photo worthy but average in flavor. The stars here are the roasted meats, cocktails, and environment.Awesome outdoor patio that would be amazing with a drink on cooler nights. $50 dinner for a family of 4 that was worth everypenny! Today's dinner was @eatatcamp (Camp Outpost) on S. Alamo. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors all shaded with misters! Dad... had the Limoncito, I had the Pineapple Buck and my husband had the Slushy Margarita. We ordered the Camp Wings as appetizer andactually ended up bringing it home. Dad and I had plenty of the Baby Back Ribs and Grits to share and take home. It was fall offthe bone as I was told. The sweet potato fries ended up being complimentary and was good. My husband had the Market Salad andHalf Rotisserie Chicken. He enjoyed that greatly. We made room for the Seasonal Fruit Crisp Cobbler. It had pineapple and peachand was very, very sweet! The rotisserie chicken is good the sausage was... even better the crispy brussel sprouts were good perfectly seasoned! We go the sampler platter. Good choice if your undecidedlike we were. The drinks were good and strong and they host different events that are posted o. Their FB page. So go check outthe restaurant see if you like it. If I remember correctly (I apologize if I get wrong) the manager I think his name wasRichard.
