Unique dining experience at the top of the tower. The fine dining restaurant rotates slowly, giving you a view of the entire... city. Its a neat experience. Our waiter and service was good. The food was good, better than average, but not exceptional. Thesteaks were flavorful and the fish entree was creative. The inside decor seems a bit dated. Seems to be the type of place tovisit for tourists. Read more

Overall good experience. We had a reservation at 5:30 and we got there 15 min late due to traffic. But they were kind enough to... hold our spot we sat around 6pm and it was a great spot right close to the window. The tower spins but definitely slow enoughfor you to barely even feel it. Which is great. Food and drinks I think were fair for the price. We enjoyed some deliciousdrinks and the food was very good as well. I will note that we took our 5 month old and it was a good place to have her didn’tfeel “out of place”. However our food came out around an hour and a half later. We ordered 3 steak and 2 shrimp plates, after the long wait for our food our waiter came to tell us that she forgot to ring my husbands food in that took an additional25 min luckily my husband is very patient and they did comp the plate. I rated this on the overall price and experience andbecause I know incidents happen and that forgetting to ring in food is a very rare ocasión. I would recommend for a date nightbut taking family is a great experience too Read more

Celebrated my wife birthday here. The view was amazing and the food was great. I had the panned chicken with mashed potatoes and... asparagus. She had the three course meal with steak. Our food was perfectly season. The waitress(s) were very attentive to ourneeds. My wife finished her course with a lava cake. That was one of the best lava cakes I've ever had. When I'm in San Antonioagain, I'll definitely make reservations for here. Read more

For food, I ordered a ribeye with mashed potatoes. The meat was cooked thoroughly to my liking. I had two drinks which were a... tequila sunrise and a tequila moonrise. The service was wonderful. The waitress was very friendly with an unwaveringsmile. Even though there were plenty of people there, the atmosphere with the low lighting was peaceful. The city view fromthe restaurant was breathtaking as the sun set and the night lights brought the city to life. Read more

This place is amazing! It was my husband's birthday a couple days ago so I decided to treat him to a dinner 750 ft up in the air... <3. The Chart House is located inside Tower of the Americas and it was just amazing. We had to wait maybe like 10 mins for theelevator, once we arrived to the top we were seated right away (made reservation like 2 weeks ago) if you don't havereservations I overheard that the wait was approx. 2 hours. Our table was overlooking outside which was so cool. It rotates butyou don't feel it. I ordered the Thai Island Shrimp it was amazing! My husband ordered the prime ribeye, the steak was perfectmade. I also ordered a non alcoholic faux-jito yikes that thing was sour, all I could taste was the mint. Didn't end updrinking. Overall, our experience was amazing. I loved it! Read more

I've never had such a disappointing experience in a restaurant when my expectations were so high. My husband and I went here... for a quick snack while on a last minute birthday winery and exploration weekend that he planned for me. I had never been to SanAntonio and wanted to see the Alamo. As we were driving I saw the restaurant and wanted to stop in for the view and a quickmeal. We decided to share the 3 course special they had for $52: Cup of Lobster Bisque, Shrimp Pasta, Mini Chocolate Brownie. Our soup came out pretty quickly. It had a good flavor. Warm. Smooth. Creamy. Very pureed. Not one chuck of lobster in sight. 3/5 Shrimp Pasta 0/5: Came out 55 minutes after we ordered. The shrimp and noodles were cold. The butter sauce that was pouredover was hot. Very disappointed with it. We didn't eat it. When the server returned we told her we waited an hour and was unableto wait another hour for a warm version of the meal, so we just wanted to leave. She said she'd speak with a manager, so wewaited. She returned and said the manager said we didn't have to pay a bill and we could just leave. This was puzzling to me. Inever saw the manager. There was no, "I'm sorry this happened". Nothing. Very poorly managed. On the way out, I stop by therestroom to complete my review. The bathroom was trashed. It's located right next to the host stand where 4-5 hosts were hangingout while there's no toilet paper in the restroom. I won't be back. Read more

This was our last night in San Antonio and it was a romantic beautiful date night. Our waitress was very personable and spaced... out our courses perfectly so we could enjoy the view. My boyfriend got a cucumber cocktail which was very refreshing and I gotthe Tequila butterfly…it was a beautiful pink color changing and cool -presentation. The steak was cooked perfect and thedessert was mouthwatering. My favorite part was the view-and I’m not just talking about the sunset :) Read more

Absolutely stunning restaurant high on top of a revolving tower that was built for a World's Fair. You will pay for parking $10... even if you're just visiting the restaurant but that's ok because the experience is well worth it. The grounds the tower are onare beautiful. Waterfalls and statues and beautiful places to walk, a gift shop and a lot more. We were in somewhat of a hurryso we couldn't fully enjoy everything. Must have reservations! And if you need to attend an event after dinner then make yourreservations for earlier than you think you'll need. It takes awhile to get up to the top and you'll want to enjoy yourleisurely dining experience. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Definitely a more welcoming vibe than the now-closedMalibu, Ca location. The kids greatly enjoyed the cool selection of virgin cocktails which come with low cost refills. Very fun!We all loved the asparagus appetizer and my coconut shrimp was really good. The boys said their meat dishes were delicious andthe meat was cooked as requested. The views are unrivaled and if you're there for the sunset you're in for a treat. The entirerestaurant slowly rotates and the direction you're facing is inscribed on the beam which is pretty cool. 100% a worthwhileexperience. Sometimes you sacrifice quality food and service for these types of unique locations but that's not the case here. Read more
