It was a spacious, quiet, and cozy spot for a mid-morning coffee. The barista was kind and informative. The only way it could... have been better if the service was faster. NO BREAKFAST TACOS!! NOOOOOOOOO!\n\nA little bit off the river, A little walk from the Nueva dam on street level. We ran here... Sunday morning to get some coffee and breakfast tacos, BUT THEY DISCONTINUED THEM. :sadpanda: but don\'t despair; they have aselection of very delicious pastries to grab with your coffee or refresher. Support Local!! Support Small biz!! With the downtown area hit hard by Covid and redevelopment/road work so many small... businesses have disappeared. I stumbled upon this NEW coffee shop around the corner from the courthouse. In house roasted beansfor Espresso and Ice brewed coffees!! Simple decor, pleasant mix music,gave Chicos a very calming presence to the usual bustlingnature near the courts. Competitive prices(compared to Starbucks) and a nice optional selections of drinks including fresh brewteas, smoothies, and craft sodas. Some small snacks as well as breakfast tacos available. Great local shop. My daughter and I were on vacation and wanted something close to San Fernando cathedral. This did not... disappoint. It was a little higher priced than what we had been paying, but SO worth it. Decor was Central American themed,and proprietress was warm and friendly. We will go back. Read more
What can I say about Chico\'s coffee shack? Awesome, fun, funky. I love\nthe disco playing in the background. The owner was... super nice, and made me feel so welcomed.I could go on about how awesome the coffee was or how delicious the bacon and eggbreakfast tacos were.You just have to come in yourself and see.I love this place.Its just my disco retro vibe.I love the coolart pics hanging on the wall too. It?s nice to have a good coffee place downtown! The owner was very kind and friendly and I walked away with a delicious iced... americano. Their beans are good and better than Starbucks. Only wish they were closer to me, will definitely be going back! Read more
