Lively location, decorations and waiters make you feel like you?ve been transported somewhere outside of San Antonio! Chips and... salsa were absolutely delicious and the perfect spice level. We came in about twenty minutes before closing last night(Friday) with a party of five. I wasn?t sure if it was too late to be... served. The food tasted good and the service was great. By the time we got our food and drinks it was already past closing timebut the employees were nice and friendly and weren?t trying to rush us or the other customers out the door. Would definitelyrecommend this location not only for the good food but also making customers feel welcome. Read more
Very bad experience. Ordered a steak burrito with no beans inside (SPECIFICALLY)....and promptly received a LARGE BEAN BURRITO... WITH EXTRA EXTRA BEANS &NO MEAT (ESPECIALLY FAJITA) INSIDE WHATSOEVER ????????I can't make this up. Chuy's is what you'd expect for Americanized mexican food. Don't expect out of the world flavor. The food is decent, satisfying,... and reasonably priced for the portions. The boom boom enchilada, and taco salad were good and the tres leches is a musthave. The atmosphere is really nice complimented with their great eclectic interior design. The service was also great; ourwaitress was very attentive. I would go back. Read more
Love Chuy?s. Stopped in for lunch this afternoon, seated in the bar area and had the best server, Robyn. She was friendly, knew... the menu and didn?t hover but always seemed to know when to come around. The food was good but my three stars is NOT areflection on her, she is a 5 star, Food was 4. BUT?3 star review is based on the water. Typically I ONLY drink water but thewater at this location tastes incredibly contaminated, Robyn was quick to respond to my complaint and went to another sectionfor water, also brought lemonade it was okay but still tasted off. Water is obviously so important as you?re likely using it tocook as well. Read more
The place is amazing! We went on vacation to San Antonio and stopped here for dinner. Our waiter was Logan. They didn't have any... carbonation for any of their sodas so could only offer sweet tea, water and juice. My family's real country though so sweet teais life to us so we were totally fine with that. He forgot we ordered queso but got it later. The cooks forgot my daughter hadchicken enchiladas instead of cheese ones but Logan was quick to get it fixed. He was quick, nice and friendly and he solved anyissues made so no complaints here! Good job Logan! The decor in the place was amazing! From top to bottom! We loved theatmosphere and looking around! It definitely gave us a dinner topic! The food was amazing! The tortillas were homemade and freshand even when I was done, I couldn't help but tell my family how great the tortillas alone were and I was making them all trythem lol. The kids even kept talking about how good their food was. The salsa and jalapeño ranch were amazing too! Overall, Ilove the place and yall should definitely go!! Read more
