Good hone-style food, friendly service, great prices!
If you?re not looking for it, you?ll miss it! Tried Claudia?s for the first time last week and back again today. Each time was a... wonderful experience both food and service. The food is amazing, the coffee is wonderful, the tortillas are homemade and to diefor, and the service is warming and friendly. The food is delicious! Everything was on point from the Chile to the tortillas to the queso it was like the blue moon & el sol... Mexican restaurant's very similar but the prices here at Claudia's well you can't beat it for the quality of the food they alsoserve tamales on the side or by the dozen along with barbacoa. .. Didn't like the tacos. Tasted awful. The flour tortillas were not fully cooked. Not home made, too much chemicals... (preservatives) gives a bad taste. The red sauce for the tacos was also bad tasting. So, even if the inside food was okay, those two other things ruined the product. Not going back. Oh, in addition, in chew into something like dirt. We have had only good experiences here. It feels unpretentious & cozy. I had an order of rice w/ 2 over medium eggs on top. The... eggs were cooked just right and the rice was a little dry, but all in all delicious.I also ordered a quesadilla w/ grilled haminside it (syncronizada). It was also very well made & tasty. An unpretentious mom & pops little joint open from 7am-2pm. I order simple things, wiener and egg taco and a guacamole chalupa,... they do them right everytime-very pleased. So it's flavorful, sauces are spicy, & they don't mind making a fresh pot of coffeeat anytime. When in the mood for comfort I'll be back to Claudia's. Read more
