Very average to below average food. They even charge for bread. I think you're better off going to Luby's than dining here. The... brisket was awful, turkey and chicken about average. You can tell they use cheap ingredients. I did like the decor inside thethey had televisions. The recordings in the bathroom were very corny and rubbed me off wrong. Service was good but waitressdefinitely had an attitude. Be prepared to pay about $30-35 per person. Read more

We came in from Houston and this place did not disappoint! The staff was friendly and service was awesome! Matthew H was our... server and he was great and kept the drinks coming! We came to this restaurant for an early lunch. The place was less busy than usual. We could enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, good... food and prompt service. It’s a good place to visit with friends. Real Texas bbq experience on I 10. Read more

My brother-in-law knew exactly what he wanted when he called and said he was here at the county line on IH 10! Not only was it... not extremely packed for lunch, but a very comfortable vibe inside of the restaurant and a wonderful staff that paid quite theattention to the table especially the one that we were at! In this particular photo you'll see that my son and I shared the fivemeat combo which was fantastic! Thank you to the staff and the cooks of course in the back making sure that we had a hot platein front of us, and two are awesome waitress who left us served hand and foot which is why I'm giving five stars to this awesomeestablishment thank you! We had an amazing experience from the time we stepped foot in the front door. Our server, Joe, was exceptional! We ordered the... rib combo with pork and beef ribs. It came out on a turkey platter sized plate. The side dishes were huge and delicious as well. We tried the macaroni and cheese, beans, and potato salad. Make sure you order the homemade loaf of bread. Well worth everypenny, but be sure to save some room for dinner! The peach cobbler is absolutely to die for! We saw this place on a video of oneof the places that you must eat at while in San Antonio and they were 100% spot on. Read more

Visited this place the first time on a trip back before Covid. Was relieved to see they were still here and still turning out... some of the best BBQ you will find anywhere. Friendly people, great food. I loved the Fred Flintstone worthy beef ribs, and ofcourse the brisket. Their coleslaw is very good and not just a pulverized afterthought like most places! Read more

I ordered the emergency kit and it was enough food for two of us to eat. The flavor of the sausage was amazing and I absolutely... loved the potato salad and the Cole slaw. Everything was great and for $20, this was the best option. Read more

My girlfriends and I had a lovely lunch today. I had the Rib plate w coleslaw and fried okra and an Arnold Palmer. My... girlfriends each had the 2 meat plate w brisket and sausage. In lieu of an appetizer, we each took home the killer bread puddingwith sauce and vanilla ice cream. My ribs were tender, coleslaw fresh and chunky, fried okra hot and crispy. Needless to say, Ineeded extra napkins to wipe off all the BBQ sauce from my fingers and face. Our server, Sabrina, gave us excellent attentiveservice. You will not leave hungry from this place!
