We've been to Cowboy Sushi twice now and really enjoy the food and atmosphere. I wanted to add my review as we were there last... night (prime time Friday night) and it was not busy at all. I don't know if it is the location (they are back off the road) orit was just an off night, but it certainly isn't the food. Asian fused with Texan doesn't sound like it would work, but itreally does. My wife is a Sushi neophyte (California Roll is her go to), but she does enjoy it. She's just not very adventurous.She really likes the meat skewers, the CA roll and I got her to try the Jesse James (coconut shrimp based) which she fell inlove with. I don't mind a good spicy roll and the Spicy Tuna based Annie Oakley has a nice kick with a sweet side from thestrawberries. The Alamo is also excellent, topped with jalapeno slices it will light up you mouth. This place is reallycreative, is spotless, has a nice bar and great staff. The best! Out of the box sushi that is delicious! Great specials. Amazing service. Their wild west club has an amazing dance... floor and games to play. Will be back many times! Highly recommend! Read more
I developed a lot of food allergies over the years and this was the first place that ever took the time to customize my sushi.... The waiter was patient and helpful with her suggestions. The chef made me salmon and a tuna sushi with carrot, ginger, andcucumber. It was delicious and most of all, I could finally eat at a sushi place and not break out in hives and be sick fordays. The best combination of foods! My husband isn't huge into sushi but he loved it. The flavors are BOMB! And you can't find food... like this anywhere else. We got the Annie Oakley, the Gun Smoke, and the Wyatt Earp (all rolls). Honestly I can't pick afavorite because it was all so so good! The ambience was fun, too. Just a great, unique place with some of the best food I'veever had and I hope they stay! Read more
I visited cowboy sushi because of a groupon deal and am really happy I did. I love the concept and the food was delicious. It... provided a great option for my wife, who is not a classical sushi fan, and me. My wife ordered the Roy Roger's which is cookedroast beef in a roll and enjoyed it. I got their spicy crab, spicy tuna, and brisket rolls; all fantastic, the menu has an artfor mixing flavors. Read more
